It will be interesting to see what WH does at the QB position. Wooster and Madison battle to stay out of the basement? Does Wooster have a new coach yet?

West Holmes has a freak athlete that will be a freshman. He may be the next Williams Dixon. He played middle school QB, could he play varsity? Maybe in a wild cat. But if I remember right when we played them in freshman ball two years ago they had a good QB. That kid will be a junior now.

I feel like Madison is in good hands. Their old coach is probably wishing he would’ve waited alittle longer on taking the Orrville job since he was at Wooster previously. Wooster seems like it would be a great program to take over if you can get the kids to buy in. They did lose one of their better lineman to moving out of state.

Last year Parsons was the backup until injury, then Chaney filled that role. Beechy is athletic as all get out, but it is always a jump from 8th to 9th grade let alone 8th to varsity. Will have to see how this goes and how the offense looks with who shakes out as the skill positions.

Beachy by mid season. Chaney is very athletic but I was told he is moving to running back. Son says a few underclassman aren’t playing.

Not a fan of that approach. Mid season is when they get to the toughest part of the schedule minus the Dover game. Either he's that guy or he isn't. If he is then he might as well be there game 1. I'm just a WH fan on a forum so that doesn't mean much.

You forgot Lexington's Andrew Saris 3rd year HC.

They have a good RB that’s a junior now right? I would take the lumps this year and install all RPO (if Beachy can throw at the varsity level.) let those two run wild and throw it occasionally.

I believe New Philly opens up at home with Louisville, they were up there last season.

NP could be really really good next year because their skilled players are talented. It will be the offensive line that decides how good they can be. The line has underachieved the last few years but I'm not sure that's a talent issue or a scheme and bad technique problem.

This summary from a Rittman-centered podcast posted 2 days ago says Tyler Dennis has informed Rittman he's taking the Wooster job.

The Richland Source recently did a five-day piece on the financial woes of Mansfield City Schools. A lot of belt tightening and reductions in force going on. I could see that being a deterrent for folks without Tyger blood.

Ashland's Nathan Bernhard has committed to Div I Appalachian State. I think it's a good fit for him. I know Xichigan and Penn State have shown interest in him. But App. St. he could compete for playing time and a starting position a little sooner.

Will probably earn some more B1G offers throughout the season, he has a massive frame and the sky is the limit for him! Indiana was my guess, thought the revival would bleed into him.

2nd D1 committed quarterback in the league. Pretty impressive for a conference, this year will be fun! Can’t wait to come up week 10 to Lexington!

Was told that some schools were reducing their interest. Indiana was high on his list and a commitment was discussed but they asked him to wait and see what a few offers to higher rated QBs resulted. Indiana had made offers to 6 QB that are rated higher.
