SVSM left too. VASJ got booted from the schedule because they left. Walsh was open so it was made perfect sense to schedule them. Mooney needs to be very careful. They are really falling behind Ursuline in all aspects and will end up in obscurity if they don't get it figured out.

Parents are cautious about the southside. Unfortunately that's something Mooney can't do anything about. A cousin of mine worked at the school and was held up in the parking lot after school. She got another job.
Is the SVC now officially defunct? Mooney and East aren't playing in 2025.

I'm not sure if it is officially defunct now or not. I know Chaney and East pulled out but I don't know if it was for the upcoming season or not. If Mooney isn't playing East then it probably is.

AT Reynolds? Enjoy that away bleacher. If you're not the first 100 fans in the stands, you're going to be standing on the sideline. Is an interesting matchup though. Lucas, I feel, should be the favorite even traveling.

My opinion, St. C doesn’t want that game. They have rarely scheduled up. They scheduled Big Red for a 2 year contract about 10 years ago and didn’t score one point either year.

Youngstown East is officially off the Irish slate (week 4). Massillon was approached to fill the spot but it was too late as the Tigers have booked a NY team. Are Chardon, VASJ & Massillon Perry still open week 4? I think that Wilmington PA was open as well.

I know at least 1 of the Ohio teams was contacted. The last I heard we were waiting on an answer. Wilmington would only be good for the young guys to get a lot of playing time. It would be a rout.
