2025 ECC Football

Transfer culture is what it is, but 8th grade to 9th grade is one school to another. The high school you attend is a big deal for kids now and a lot of them get to start something new.
The high school you attend has always been a big deal in this city. I argue it's not as big a deal anymore because kids just jump ship and play for 3 schools fairly regularly now.

How did an inter city kid end up at Anderson?
There is an apartment complex on Beechmont Avenue that is 4.2 miles, equidistant, from each of Withrow and Anderson high schools. I don't know if Anderson's district is open enrollment or not, nor which school district that complex is part of, but switching between those two schools from a geographic only standpoint could be seen as a toss up.

While we are on the topic. ‘29 QB Winnie Garnett is headed to Anderson. He’s from Columbus, OH. Currently holds an offer from UK.
So he's an 8th grader currently, and the family is moving before high school? How is this news? Unless he's doing a 3 hours per day round trip commute.

West Clermont senior DE Caillou Robinson picked up an FBS offer from Kent State.

Lebanon senior TE Nick Lautar got three Power 5 offers this weekend, Pitt, UK and Louisville.

TriStateFootball also previewed Lebanon's 2025 season earlier this week. Only the second time in 8 years they've done Lebanon.
