He’s not rated higher than Rock. But he’s a stud and will be a difference maker. Re: the QB transfer he was headed to Hoban before they received two transfer QBs. Your playoff game with Hoban is going to be another instant classic!

I saw this and had a nice chuckle. Nice kid and all, but I saw him at the St Francis and RMU camps and I assure you, he shouldn't be posting these types of things because he's very average - at best.
It's becoming more and more ridiculous watching kids do posts like this. It's all "look at me, look at me, look at me." Most have a false sense of what they really are.
Yeah, I and I think most of us would agree. Sign o the times I guess. Fyi I know nothing about this kid or how good he is or not, but I didn't see any offers or star ratings on 247.

Maybe that’s why he didn’t end up at Hoban. But I’d have to think he’s at minimum as good as the two QBs that transferred to Hoban and he was a full time varsity starter in Buffalo. Just my opinion, the Tigers won this trade off.

Yeah the CB offers are from pretty impressive schools and just a junior and as Tarblooder added two good players. maybe a position switch ? he looks pretty fast

Why not keep him at CB? That speed can be deadly in the defensive backfield, maybe a little offense as well, Chris Gamble/Woodson style

LOL. That’s what we added, two big ol’ hogs. One 6’3 330 the other 6’2 300. Word is we may have a 3rd hog coming, not as exciting as an out of state QB and ranked CB but I’ll take it, lol. You guys seems pretty solid in the trenches on both sides.would love to see a couple 6-4 280 OL/DL

Honestly the posts by both kids were about as classy and not “look at me” as what you usually see.

Lockdown corners can free up your defense to be so much more aggressive. Never move a kid from that position if you don’t have to.
Historically Massillon is deep in skill and thinner in trenches. Can't afford any injuries on either line. Will have more guys in 250# range than the other top D2's, or Ed obviously. Which is fine. Wright is 5'11" (on his tippy toes) 280 I wouldn't trade him.

Worst case scenario is we have two senior QBs with experience that are capable of distributing the ball to the receivers. Manny gets to play in the jv games and get actual game reps rather than stand on the sideline.

What’s the odds this kids displaces Slaughter? I looked at his hudl but most people look good on hudl.
Can't answer that till we know how well he runs. Doubtful as a passer imo but way early.

Yep, we love Michael, he just plays with such enthusiasm. This is his year and a chance to really lead the younger guys.

Consistency is the key. Can’t throw a perfect 40 yd ball one play and then airmail a bubble screen the next.
One of those classic low center of gravity guys that are absolute bulldozers. Jamir Martin was another guy that comes to mind. They just get under you and it's over. In Power 5 programs interior linemen (on both sides) have size AND technique but in HS you can win all day with guys like this. I still think he is MAC quality though.

I think your sophomore, Manny, is better than this kid. Again, I saw him in person at two camps and he was not impressive.

Keep in mind offers and stars don't mean as much as the viewing public thinks. There are plenty of kids with measurables and stars that are terrible HS players. They blossom in college, but are very average HS players.8 offers 3
