That is an interesting stat. The home team has won 10 of the last 11 games in the series. I can't think of another Federal League matchup where the home team has been so dominant.

Green will be a big favorite in that game… although I don’t think Lake will just rollover. That’s a wild stat. The home team has won 10 of the last 11 games in the series. I can't think of another Federal League matchup where the home team has been so dominant.
At the old Hartville stadium!Green actually won in 1963 and 1985 at Lake. There's a huge gap where they didnt play every year also. Regardless, they have Greens number at home.
They are probably saying Green hasn't won their since they were the Green Bulldog's since the new school wasn't founded until 1996.Green actually won in 1963 and 1985 at Lake. There's a huge gap where they didnt play every year also. Regardless, they have Greens number at home.
The Green High Bulldogs have been around since 1957, it was Greensburg High before that. They are probably saying Green hasn't won their since they were the Green Bulldog's since the new school wasn't founded until 1996.
I didn't know they had the name bulldogs before 1996 also heard their colors were adopted from Massillon in 1996 when Massillon donated their old Jerseys for Greens first season at New SchoolThe Green High Bulldogs have been around since 1949, it was Greensburg High before that.
I believe it's 16 times in the last 15 years. I think only one playoff game between the two in that time. How many times has McKinley beat Jackson in the last 15 years?
Massillon did donate their jerseys for Greensburg's first football season, which was probably sometime in the 1920s or 1930s, and yes, that is where we got our colors from. Not sure how long the Bulldogs nickname has been used, but I'm fairly certain it dates back before World War 2. The current HS building was indeed built in 1996. Greensburg High, built in 1902 on Greensburg Road was turned into Kleckner Elementary School, and was torn down in 2015. The first Green High School from 1957 is now the Intermediate School (Grades 4-6 I believe) and is right next to the stadium. It too is being demolished after this school year, along with the Middle School (Grades 7-8) to make room for a new larger school building which is being constructed right now on land between the two existing schools.I didn't know they had the name bulldogs before 1996 also heard their colors were adopted from Massillon in 1996 when Massillon donated their old Jerseys for Greens first season at New School

Thank you for clearing it up see I was confused. I was under the impression that 1996 was when we donated our jerseys to green the same year your new higschool was built.I didn't know that had been your colors for that long.constructed right now on land between the two existing schools.
Thank you,can McKinley make it 10 straight?Lake has not beaten McKinley since 2014. Nine straight losses.
Seems likely.Thank you,can McKinley make it 10 straight?
They should make it 10 straight, but Lake is due for one win every ten years, so you never know!Thank you,can McKinley make it 10 straight?
maybe Bardawil will have a little something for the Pups, I believe he is the OC for Jackson this year and had been at McKinleyWith Lake as beat up as they are, it looks like unless Jackson can break the curse it's McKinley's league once again.
However, borrowing from spyros in the McK thread... the Bulldogs have been penalized 49 times for 423 yards since entering Fed play. They have over ten penalties in each of the four games. They played a close one against Green and a nailbiter against Hoover that may well have been a loss if not for an iffy decision by Brian Baum. This pattern does not bode well for them against Massillon and R1 competition, including Jackson. We shall see!
Very big game for both teams. Hoover and Perry could both use some positive momentum heading into the last two weeks. Vikings could easily finish the season 3-0 OR 0-3.Must win for Hoover tonight if they want any chance of hosting a playoff game. Looking forward to tonight. Perry is up and down. And Hoover has a lot of guys banged up.
Yeh pretty sure by 1996 we did not need donations. I've always wished Green would go like the Miami Hurricanes and adopt their Green, Orange and White. Every time its brought up though the old school alumni kick it down and have fits. Its funny when we play a team with Green uni's and the ref says out of bounds Green ball, they actually mean the opposing team.Thank you for clearing it up see I was confused. I personally would be okay with something like the Miami orange uniform combo as our home jersey, but I would prefer to keep orange, and not green, as the dominant color. I was a big fan of the orange home jerseys we had from 2019-2022, but don't care as much for the black ones being used now.Yeh pretty sure by 1996 we did not need donations. The Polar Bear uniforms have left something to be desired this year, yes. While Green's unis are nothing special, we can at least take heart that they aren't as bad as Jackson wearing yellow pants with their white road jerseys, like they did in Week 5. Now that was ugly.
Jackson is 1-13 vs McKinley at McKinley home stadiums (Fawcett, Central Catholic and Benson HOF) all-time,The home team has won 10 of the last 11 games in the series. I can't think of another Federal League matchup where the home team has been so dominant.
