2024-2025 Ohio State Basketball

You need to be more specific then. You can’t just say somebody isn’t on TV but then say you don’t count ACC or other conference networks because that absolutely counts.

Now if the conversation was geared toward “major” networks then you would be onto something BUT that depends on if ESPN is considered a major network or not because that’s where all of the ACC and SEC games are now.
I will be more specific going forward, and not assume anything of the reader.

The simple fact remains that last year almost nobody outside of Miami or their opponent for that particular game saw a Miami basketball game on TV. That was the entirety of my point.

The kid was at Duke and left, so this this is a bad look for him. And Bradshaw does not have a landing spot yet so his value is not in high demand.

Jardy, seemingly the only insider for OSU basketball and that’s being generous, says they are targeting a wing and a forward now and that OSU feels good about and are a “quiet finalist for a star.” Noted Stewart leaving frees up a lot of NIL money.

Not sure what to make of this honestly.

Wonder why "a lot of NIL money" was put into Stewart?

Because, you know, 5-star prospect out of high school. Never mind that the Duke coaches figured out that he isn't very good. Some people value the HS rankings way too much.

I will say that at least the kid played really hard, but that should be a given for everybody. Very athletic, great motor, decent rebounder. But he cannot shoot a basketball, has terrible footwork, and just lacks general court awareness. Some guys have b-ball IQ and some don't.

I have a feeling that they burned a lot of NIL money last year on Stewart and Bradshaw based on high school rankings and the schools they were transferring out of.

I'm guess the fact that Bradshaw is still looking means he is not getting what he feels he is worth and we shall see how quickly Stewart finds a home.

White is a good athlete; he will have good career at OSU. Meechie is going to be ok, good all-around bball player. OSU will struggle when not shooting well from outside but fun to watch - uptempo team big contrast to the last 4 years.
Since we want to bump posts. This team was anything but fun to watch :ROFLMAO:

OSU BIG bball schedule:

OHIO STATE
Home: Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Nebraska, Purdue, UCLA, USC
Away: Iowa, Maryland, Michigan State, Northwestern, Oregon, Rutgers, Washington
Home/Away: Michigan, Penn State, Wisconsin

Is he back talking with OSU? I would hope and think that something gets announced fairly soon.
No. There’s a reason OSU, UConn and UNC all backed off him despite being his announced final three and why he ended up at Washington in the first place. I’m sure Bundalo is a nice kid and talent player but apparently there is a culture issue.

With NIL, things can always change but OSU expected to have an incoming transfer announcement tomorrow. My guess is the Baylor center. Will likely miss the beginning of the season as he recovers from injury.
Any word on a good sized wing player who can defend the perimeter and shoot the 3?

Last I heard is they are waiting to see if Darrion Williams stays in the draft or not. They’ll have to fight off Kansas, but apparently Kansas won’t wait for him. If not, likely the Euro route.
