Seton sweeps SUA during the regular season but both were close matches. Thinking we will see both of these teams in the Region 4 finals unless maybe Kings or Centerville can power through.

Coworker told me Kings had a Player in a walking boot last night. They are very good from what I hear but not deep at all. I could see a Seton -SUA Final. Thinking about going to watch Ursuline at Kings Monday night. Hear Ursuline down from what they accustomed to but certainly they still play a tough Schedule. What you take on Ursuline-Kings?

Those 2 teams should be in the regional finals but it will be all up to how the seatings will pan out. There is still a lot of competitive volleyball to be played by all of these teams between now and when the brackets are determined. It will interesting to see how the coaches end up ranking these teams.

This is the first time in a long while that multiple public programs has a real opportunity to be in the regionals

Heard from a friend of mine who's daughter plays at Ursuline he thinks they are missing a floor leader. Team has a much different feel but they have a lot of talent. Having said that they have a great coach and a lot of really good players so sometimes you just have to get hot. If Kings has one of their Pins in a boot, that is not good. They have no depth. Think Seton and SUA are the clear leaders and Centerville is a team to watch. They are big and have some good arms, just not sure they have a back row that can match up with Seton or SUA.

The interesting thing to watch is Kings & Centerville both have to play GGCL teams down the stretch - how will the coaches seat Kings & Centerville if both put up goose eggs against the GGCL teams?

Outside the league, Seton plays Mason, Kings, and Centerville still among a few other DII schools.

When do coaches submit playoff seedings?

How does Dublin Scioto stack up this year? I don’t have a ton of context on girls volleyball, but they’re 17-0 with Alec Rothe, who I’d imagine is the best middle in the state.

Not sure but the question would be who have they beaten? Also while having a great Middle is nice but it is probably the single hardest position in volleyball to affect a game since they usually sit for at least 3 rotations. I did once meet a high level Middle in a business meeting, played at Oregon, who played all the way around in HS but for club and NCAA she was subbed for the Libero.

She does play all the way around. I believe they libero their right side.

Interesting - so for most of these teams that don't play this weekend, their "resume" is already built that they have to submit.

The seatings will be interesting to see how they pan out

Kings beats Seton in 5. Big win for the Kings program. The Regional Semi and Finals could be an absolute war between three teams that have not won the Region.
And, this was with the player on the sideline in a boot.

Great match!

24 for Kings is a heck of a player. Her receive was a little shaky at points, but all other phases she was really good.

I am assuming one of the teams is Kings - what are the other 2? Both Seton & SUA have multiple state banners hanging in their gyms.

Kings definitely would be making history if they could get out of the region as it has been probably close to 30 years a non ggcl school made it out of the region.

What kind of Seed you think Kings will get? They beat Seton yesterday in 5 but what if they Should Lose Tomorrow when Ursuline comes to Kings? I think if this scenario really does happen Kings seed will only fall a spot or two.

Unless Kings has a huge hangover from yesterday's match and lays an egg against a team that has dropped 10 out of their last 11 (who would ever think you would say that about UA!), they are the overall #1 SWO seed. I just don't see how anyone could dispute that. They just beat the #1 in the State at Seton, and since the the "rough start" with Mason going 5 and losing to SUA in 4 in the 2nd match, they have dropped only one set to a league rival.

If betting today - top 3 in order are Kings, Seton & SUA

To me, the next 4-10 sports are going to be the interesting ones - outside of Centerville & MND, wouldn't doubt it if it be heavy with ECC teams,

What does everyone else think?

I'd agree. Unless Kings loses to Ursuline in which case I'd put Seton at #1.
