Since coaching hires and head coaches is a big topic lately. I heard a rumor that Otsego Lindke has already started looking elsewhere. Not sure the source behind it but interesting if true.

Interesting that you have Otsego at 2. I think they could end up being much lower than you expect. They seemed to regress throughout the season last year and they lost some key players. I don't see Maumee finishing in the top half in my opinion.
I'd have to agree here. OH/Genoa/Eastwood top three based on returning talent and strength of athletic programs. Otsego looks like it might be 4 or sneak into 3 taking a win from Eastwood or Genoa.

Hearing Scott Garlock from LB could be an option. He was a part time AD and special Ed teacher. Both are open at Eastwood

Wow! That would be quite the surprise (for him to leave LB). Certainly would be a change in style of play from what Eastwood's accustom to.

Yes agreed, but perhaps depending on who applies they shuffle around the job requirements?
Job 1 intervention specialist, HFC, spring time AD
Job 2 asst principal, AD in fall/winter
Of course I could be completely wrong about Garlock’s interest in the job.

Just no.

I'm interested in how the rest of the league is doing in the offseason. How are the new coaches at Lake and Maumee doing with their offseason programming? Does Fostoria have offseason workouts? What do the rest of the schools do for offseason stuff?

A sidebar that might be interesting to debate: Should Ohio allow spring football?

I’d have to imagine interviews this week at Eastwood? Hearing a former Comet coach has applied…and his name is not Spiess or Vicars

Since no one wants to talk about anything else other than Eastwood; what are their coordinators doing? Any word on if they're sticking around or not? Did any of them apply for the head job?

Who was their D-Coordinator last year? Karchner was 2 years ago but he's now on his 2nd head coaching job

Saunders called the D last year - Not sure how much of a free hand he had, formation wise it stayed the same as previous years

For good reason. Is there a better public small-school football program over the last 20+ years in NWO? Maybe Patrick Henry, Archbold, and Liberty Benton.

It’s a very intriguing job, especially considering the circumstances and situation.

Rutherford was the play caller last year. Saunders called the defense but he just joined the staff last spring/summer. Have heard mumblings of him going to Otsego as well.

Let's say Mifsud gets the job..... I believe that will that be 4 schools in 4 years for him? if so, that is very odd for someone to do.
