Over the weekend, I'll be doing my best to track former Ohio HS wrestlers who qualify for the NCAA D1 Tourney in two weeks. I'll post a comment below this one with a running tally that will be updated when wrestlers are confirmed to be qualified. If I've got high schools wrong please let me know!

This should be updated through the day. Have only included wrestlers that are for sure qualified, so no EIWA. MAC and SoCon are completed.

This list is (I believe) accurate and complete through the AQs. 19 wrestlers so far, I'll have a couple more posts about how this stacks up to previous years and who missed out/could get a wildcard.

Wrestlers from Ohio who earned an allocation/were #1 seed for their conference, but did not earn a spot at NCAAs (wildcard potential):
- Tanner Jordan, SDSU, 125, Graham
- Cole Mattin, Michigan, 141, Delta
- Paddy Gallagher, Ohio State, 157, St. Edward
- Logan Messer, George Mason, 174, Wadsworth

Wrestlers from Ohio who "stole" an allocation spot, aka placed above their seed at conferences:
- Angelo Rini
- Ashton Eyler
- Lennox Wolak
- Zayne Lehman

While Ohio had a couple wrestlers underperform, they had an equal amount overperform.

Some more info on Ohio HS guys. Took D1 data from 2018 and 2019, along with Flowrestling Big Board data for five years. Not sure what the correlation is between HS results and D1 college results, but I do know the guys at the top of the Big Boards usually are the ones winning NCAAs/being All-Americans.

2019 D1 finalists:
- Five D1 qualifier (Byrd, Rini, Andonian, Brady, Kharchla)
- Seven D1 starter, non-qualifier
- Four D1 non-starter
- Three D1 redshirt
- One non-D1 wrestler (D2/D3/NAIA)
- Eight no results (out of wrestling or injured, perhaps)

2018 D1 finalists:
- Six D1 qualifier (Byrd, Kazimir, Andonian, Voinovich, Carr, Kharchla)
- Two D1 starter, non-qualifier
- Four D1 non-starter
- One D1 redshirt
- Two non-D1 wrestler (D2/D3/NAIA)
- Six no results (out of wrestling, perhaps)
- Seven graduated, wrestled for four years

Flowrestling Big Board
- 2021: 12 Ohio wrestlers, one (Voinovich) qualified this year
- 2020: 7 Ohio wrestlers, zero qualified this year
- 2019: 14 Ohio wrestlers, five (Brady, Andonian, Kharchla, D'Emilio, Byrd) qualified this year
- 2018: 11 Ohio wrestlers, three (Moore, Jordan, Carr) qualified this year
- 2017: 10 Ohio wrestlers, two (Hart, Romero) qualified this year

Full updated after the three wildcards (Mattin, Jordan, Gallagher). 19+3 is the same exact number of qualifiers as last year.

Very surprised Dom Demas didn't get in this year. Obviously not the end we all thought he would have after that amazing 2019 tourney run, but was a true joy to watch every time he stepped on the mat.

If you follow Willie Saylor on Twitter, you will see that Austin Kohlhofer (Army/Delta) was shafted in terms of qualifying directly through the EIWA. He obviously didn't have the season to justify an at-large though.

Happy surprise on Monday night, Dom Demas got in with Jon Millner being out at 149. That's 23 qualifiers, one more than last year
