I agree with all of you Nate needs to get our kid’s attention. And now. I’d run their ’z off the next couple days. I’d make damn sure they all know what is expected from this point forward. 19 penalties is unacceptable. I know some was provoked but no excuses. And stop the taunting. Quit spinning the ball after touchdowns. Enough of the standing over the top of a guy. Quit signaling first down. I’m not saying take the edge away or having fun or celebrating a TD or big play. There’s just a way to do it. Act like you’ve been there before. And we have been there. But we aren’t winning a championship with some of the dumb things we did today and in prior games. Boys you’re better than that! Act like it! Now refocus and get ready to run these playoffs
I totally agree with your entire post. It also does nothing good for the program when parents get on social media and post negative things because their son isn't being featured enough, getting the ball enough, not winning game mvp, and whatever else they are worried about. The TEAM is what matters the most and should be ALL anyone, player, parent, coach or fan, should be worried about.

8 in a row sure does sound nice, doesn't it??

No shizz if you’re just going by penalties. But you didn’t say just penalties. You give an F but don’t want our one player suspended? Poor sportsmanship on his part, which you brought up. He should absolutely be suspended. But not according to you. Just slap him on the wrist for throwing a punch knocking a kids helmet off while he was getting slammed on the ground by a coach of his. Makes sense. Jeeezus
Who punched who? Who was getting slammed by what coach? Was that after the game? Must have missed that...

But, yeah, if we've got players throwing punches, let them sit. Look at it this way: what would happen if they were throwing punches in the cafeteria at lunch?

Yes all after the game. Well numerous kids were getting put on the ground from McKinleys coaches. Because those boys didn’t want to show their coaches the respect they should have. When they’re telling you something you do it. No excuses. Antonio Hall and Matt Leisure had to do it. Because yelling at them to stop wasn’t getting through to them kids. They were Straight up disrespectful to their coaches. Those two guys played there and now are back trying to help rebuild that program to the best of their abilities and that’s the crap they received yesterday from McKinleys players. It’s absolutely sad to be honest.

And we weren’t entirely innocent. we had a player punch or slap a guy from McKinley who was already on the ground and knocked his helmet off. Unacceptable. I love the kid. Great kid and player but so damn stupid. Personally I think he should be suspended for a game or two. My reason for that is because I don’t want to see kids wearing Massillon across their chest doing nonsense like that again. Sometimes good kids do stupid things but need to be held accountable for. This isn’t just about football here in this case it’s about life itself. Let him learn from it. He’ll be better for it in the long run.

To move past the fighting part of yesterday, what in the world was wrong with our XP team? 5 illegal procedure penalties, 3 on one try?
Was McKinley jumping and moving around causing issues? Whatever the problem is/was, that DEFINITELY needs some attention as well.
We definitely have to get that fixed. But I believe all the moving around and from what I was told, they were barking at our kids. If that’s true or not true I don’t know. But yea that can’t happen. I’ve never seen anything like that before

Well, since it is on tape now, we had better practice against whatever they were doing/saying, because to believe we won't see it again would be foolish on our part.

Reading comprehension and critical thinking is not your forte is it?

"...if you’re just going by penalties..."

That's all I was talking about!!

I made NO reference to the post game fighting, which is a separate issue (and I agree about a player being suspended in THAT case). D*mn you're insufferable.

I never addressed that specific post game melee instance anywhere in my comments. I was specifically talking about the unsportsmanlike conduct and PF penalties during the game directly related to the 19 penalties and the important teaching opportunity for the players and the team.

You infer way too many things into my comments that aren't related specific to what was posted.

Moore was definitely upset about something. Long discussion with officials. Was never an issue before and I doubt will going forward.

Agreed, but, if it was something that McKinley did that caused those penalties, you best believe another team is going to try the same or similar tactics. I know I would if I was coaching against Massillon.

Why should he stop complaining about bush behavior?
Bro because they are kids at the end of the day y'all act like when y'all was kids y'all played the game perfect that's my problem y'all didn't y'all always talk about how this ara is soft and then when you get a game that's chippy y'all complain about it don't make no sense to me. Now I'll agree some of the stupid throwing people after the play that 💩is stupid penalties that I hate and I will agree with you guys all day but when kids score touchdowns and make big plays y'all expect them to be church boys when y'all wasn't when y'all played. Bottom line what I'm trying to say is you can't have higher expectations for the kids when half of us that has played for Massillon or played football in general didn't have the same expectations
