2023 Massillon Football

From what my buddy compiled using Joe Eitel's Harbin Rankings back to 2000, the most computer points ever earned by a team since 2000 is St. X in 2007 with 45.4354

According to Joe Eitel if Massillon beats McKinley they will finish with 45.7555 which would be the highest known Harbin point average.
Remember: teams are now worth more points when they used to be. Example: beating a D1 team used to be worth 6 points. It's now worth 6.5. IOW, a fair comparison would need to account for that if you want to do apples-to-apples.

Just for grins, I recalculated X's 2007 total using current values. They would have 49.5292 points (63 first level, 415 second level). Interesting thing about that X team: for all the supposedly good teams they beat to rack up those points, their regular season opponents went 1-5 in the playoffs.

News to me. I don't ever remember hearing them before; maybe that's because I'm closer to the stadium. I figured they were using up leftovers because they can't set them off during playoffs.

I dunno, man. Maybe I was still drunk. Maybe it's early-onset dementia. Maybe I was rollin' in my sweet baby's arms and thought it was just her reaction to my lovin'. I just don't ever remember hearing them before. Which would be strange, as I can usually hear everything from PBTS (fireworks, band, PA, etc.).

Thankful to be able to watch the

Wow! Yeah, and embarassing is probably being kind. I say it was Absolutely DISGUSTING. I could care less about the score or the other teams behavior. Massillon gets a big fat "F" in sportsmanship and discipline category on their own.

I never felt like the refs were out of control. They even missed more stuff that was happening on both sides than they called. Kinda ruined the dominate performance otherwise. Nineteen penalties for over 180 yards - really?!
An F? Lol ok. We have things to clean up for sure. But How about Pringle getting punched in the balls? How about their fans threatening our kids at half going in and out of the locker room? Getting spit at? Do you want me to keep going? As I said earlier I don’t like what happened but our kids have to defend themselves at the same time. If you guys can’t see that and understand that then you’re clueless. If I’m Nate, I watch every piece of footage I can and see who did what. Then I handle them accordingly if there is need for disciplinary action. I can tell you one of our players from everything I have seen should get suspended for a couple weeks.

Potential bracket per Joe Eitel and his current rankings. Perry or lake possible 3rd playoff game, 4th could end up Hoover or Green 😈

Yeah, 19 penalties for 180+ yds is an F. What else would it be. Your whataboutism is not an argument or an answer. Why play down in the sewer of unsportsmanlikes and PFs with them? We were kicking the crap out of them.

We know all about the nasty McK stuff. One of many examples of not getting caught up in it: If the play is dead, don't pull the Mck player off the pile in front of the refs (who had just called a PF on the Mck palyer, so the penalties offset in a case where we are going to gain 15).

Suspend the player? Of course not. Just use it as a way to teach a little wisdom for a successful playoff run. Jeezus.

19 penalties for 180 yards is an "F" in that category - clean it up.

This game is no longer a rivalry! They have no fans and their players fight among themselves and anyone else they can draw into one. They bring out the worst of our players because we won't back down. I brought family from out of town and it was quite embarrassing. Honestly, I don't know why we should ever want to play them again. Solon refused to go to Euclid for the same reason we saw here today. The love of football was not on the field today and that was what it used to be all about. Sad.

No shizz if you’re just going by penalties. But you didn’t say just penalties. You give an F but don’t want our one player suspended? Poor sportsmanship on his part, which you brought up. He should absolutely be suspended. But not according to you. Just slap him on the wrist for throwing a punch knocking a kids helmet off while he was getting slammed on the ground by a coach of his. Makes sense. Jeeezus

The amount of penalties was very disappointing. Can’t do that sort of thing if you want to be a championship team.
Our special teams has bothered me all year. But whatever. Anyway, Today we can’t sit still on the extra points. How many of our penalties came from that? But then we pull off a great on side kick. I feel like we don’t play clean enough games at times. Hopefully that will get better from my standpoint going forward. We have to be way more disciplined and focused than today or that championship everyone wants isn’t happening.

Nate should have our team at the indoor tomorrow bright and early running gassers and down and backs until kids toss their cookies.
Monday, they should be running barney's until kids get the point.

I understand that our kids were not to blame for everything that happened, and that they most definitely need to defend themselves, but I will guarantee that our kids were not angels either.

This is the kind of stuff that will cost us against a team with equal or better talent.

I agree with all of you Nate needs to get our kid’s attention. And now. I’d run their ’z off the next couple days. I’d make damn sure they all know what is expected from this point forward. 19 penalties is unacceptable. I know some was provoked but no excuses. And stop the taunting. Quit spinning the ball after touchdowns. Enough of the standing over the top of a guy. Quit signaling first down. I’m not saying take the edge away or having fun or celebrating a TD or big play. There’s just a way to do it. Act like you’ve been there before. And we have been there. But we aren’t winning a championship with some of the dumb things we did today and in prior games. Boys you’re better than that! Act like it! Now refocus and get ready to run these playoffs
