Sycamore with recent wins over Loveland and @ Lakota West.
VERY young team (inconsistent, hence loss at Little Miami) looks to be getting much better as season progresses.

Where do you Seed them?

they will be seeded pretty low since they are 6-12. Its a matchup thing with them, as they sit in zone all game and only play 5 kids. If you arent making shots, they can stay close and give you problems

Wouldn't necessarily call them young, as 60% of the players that play are seniors, but just lack any depth. Literally playing 5 players if they aren't in foul trouble. Shown the ability to play most teams close, and finally got one against West. Should be seeded 19-22.

I think Wednesday nights results are included but not 100%. What’s everyone’s top 10 as of today??
1 Mason 74.657
2 Lakota East 73.593
3 West Clermont 70.224
4 Princeton 70.026
5 Mount Notre Dame 63.356

Interesting the RPI has MND over Talawanda. I honestly think MND may get 5 and Talawanda gets 6 simply because MND has name recognition and storied program. There will be coaches in the sectional that won't do their analyzing and vote MND higher because of that. Sad but true. One of the many reasons seeds should be given based off a data system or committee.

I'd argue that more coaches that do their research would vote MND over Talawanda. Nothing against Talawanda, as they have taken care of business every night. But strength of schedule is the big separator. Out of the 33 teams in the Cincy regional, MND's SOS is 7th, Talawanda's is 29th. The GGCL is down, but MND's 4 losses are to 2 Top 10 teams in Ohio and 2 Top 10 teams in KY.

It is honestly so close though. I would not think twice if Talawanda ends up 5 and MND 6. And it reality, it doesn't matter. Those 2 (and probably whoever ends up 7th) will be in the same sectional bracket.

i agree with that. 5 and 6 doesnt matter, they will be together. do you have the full list updated after the top 10?

Didn’t you post last week if WC remains undefeated they’d be 1? So they beat Kings (9) on the road Thursday to go to 18-0 and are 8-0 against teams in this top 15 and East is 5-1 against the top 15, WC has a head to head win over East, a win against state #8 Magnificat, and are still ranked lower?

If an ECC or GMC team is closely ranked to a team from another league, it is going to go to the ECC or GMC team. Larger conferences and those teams usually stick together and vote one another higher than a non-conf team. Example: Lebanon will be higher than Mt Healthy and probably even Harrison.

Top 25 MaxPreps

Mason ranked #24 in latest MaxPreps US rankings 1/24/23
They used to rank everyone, but only Top 25 now.
WC would probably be in Top 100 since they’re only .2 pts behind Mason.

Looks like win vs Bolingbrook (IL) meant a lot to MaxPreps.

Any ranking that has East that far ahead of West Clermont is kind of a joke to me. WC has a better record and a head to head win.
