I will be shocked if big ten gets far this year. Then again, I feel like the tourney is more wide open this year than any I can recall. Teams have lost left and right unexpectedly all year

Been a long time since I’ve seen a player, or team, get such preferential calls. They won’t get those in th big dance. Big Ten won’t make it past the first weekend.
Edey fouled out two Duke centers and got 3 on Timme. Why would he be getting preferential calls against those teams? He has one instruction from his coach, be there at the end. He doesn't do near what he could on defense in order to not get fouls.

Secondly, credit to Holtmann for having this team playing extremely hard to close the regular season and go on a nice tournament run. Do I still want them to make a change, absolutely. Holtmann can be a fine coach, I just don't think he gets us over the hump. At this point I want the change because of that reason, I want someone coaching this team where you go "wow, yeah, now that's a name/guy!" But seriously, great job keeping the kids engaged and playing hard to close the season, could have easily folded up to close the season...

Well injuries were big this season. And last season there was turmoil with some kids leaving. I'm on the fence with this one.

100% agree. When they beat Iowa and Gayle was clutch down the stretch, I saw Gayle hug Holtmann, and it wasn't one of those awkward dude half-hugs with a chest bump. It was a real, two-handed, sincere embrace. There is clearly a real relationship there with the players, and that matters.

I’m on that fence with you. We certainly don’t know all the dynamics in the locker room.
The players on the court at the end of the season sure showed they are talented And played hard.

Playing a very hurt Key was a disaster.

I struggle getting past the fact that he has never won a conference championship, anywhere. How long do we (actually the university) accept that?

How serious do we think the Holtmann to ND stuff is? Not the first time we've heard this rumor....this much smoke has me wondering....

Proud of the Lady Irish!
Good to see Ohio State basketball icons Mickey Mitchell and Alonzo Gaffney beat a Steve Alford coached team in the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament.
