2021 Maumee Bay Classic is Cancelled

Well we tried to hold out and we thought we had presented a good set of plans to the Lucas County Health Department but I guess they were not good enough. The 2021 Maumee Bay Classic at Oregon Clay HS has been cancelled. We would like to set up a 6 team dual meet tournament on Saturday January 16, 2021. If you are interested email Coach Cubberly at RCubberly@oregoncs.org. We plan to be back better than ever in 2022, the date will be January 14-15 2022. Our AD will be sending contracts soon. On behalf of Oregon Clay wrestling we apologize for any inconvenience.
 
 
Disappointed to hear this and any tournament cancelling because of protocols and spectator limits. Perhaps tournaments should consider running without spectators and live stream matches.
