They only had 3 but you seem a little upset about that lol. Let’s be honest they didn’t get there teeth kicked in every week they lost some tuff close games. Just because you have a kid with D1 offers don’t mean you should undefeated. The coaching staff is good. Everybody in this area know that it will take a couple years to turn a program around that’s been losing for years. What is your excuse when you are two years removed from making the playoffs. Puckett is a good coach he just don’t have the jimmy’s and joes in my opinion.

When we stop running players off. The talent is down. Dont care about categories care about wins and losses. Go ask West Carrolton why they lost with all that talent.

Talent is down for sure. We beat teams with DI kids though. Never said undefeated but maybe win a game against a team with just one win? That asking for too much. Is it too much for West Carrolton to beat Butler? Is the staff not good enough to beat a one win Butler team?

The staff is good but like any school the players play the game not the staff. The staff have two coaches that won a state title. So it’s not always the coaches fault. Sometimes coaches lose game but it’s only so much coaches can do, when kids are listening to parents talking about the coaches and telling them what they should be doing. If it’s that easy them parents should apply for the job.

Ok now the excuses come out. Its the kids and parents fault. Now you are starting to sound like the guys talking about Butler.

Butler was bad this year. We had one win against terrible Greenville who you even beat. West Carrolton had three kids on Soutwest Ohio team. Those kids had D1 offers. So West Carrolton had more talent. You had coaches who won state titles you say. So why did you lose and give up 32 points to Butler?

Your oline was terrible. Special teams was terrible. Your team had no discipline. That is coaching. Theres a reason the kids dont listen to the coaches.

it takes time to build a culture. pretty sure he was in year 2. D1 prospects are nice, but it takes a team to win.

Butler needs to find a way to cut down on the turnovers. Their defensive stats are bad, but it’s probably because they’re on the field all the time. West Carrollton just can’t stop anyone on defense. Which is surprising, because their HC has won a championship as a DC. Maybe his assistants are letting him down? At the same time, let’s remember that WC has been terrible forever. So, to be shocked that in year 2 they’re not good, shouldn’t be a surprise. Let’s see how year 3 goes for WC. I think everyone gets a mulligan in 2020.
 
Butler doesn't have the athletes. And their top defensive players graduated. Going to be another long season for the Aviators. Plus, MVL is a bad league (in almost all sports).

Where is all the talent at WC they have a couple players and it take more than a couple players. I doubt Puckett is running kids off and if he is they must be soft if they can’t take hard coaching. He still trying to change the losing culture just like at WC lol ??‍♂️

Losing culture? You guys dont follow Butler football do you. We won two games this year. Been over a decade since that happened. We been in the playoffs 3 times and won the league once in the last ten years. Tell me how many times you guys have done that.
 
Thoughts on the MVL? Overall, for all sports, are you happy with the new conference? IMHO, it seems like maybe there might be one or two decent teams in each sports league, a couple average and the rest are downright terrible. I miss playing the better GWOC teams.
 
Troy has a very athletic sophomore class. Many of them are dual sport athletes. I believe they will have some strong sports teams in the coming years. I believe this years sophomore class is the best they’ve had in quite some time.

Any reasons why he is no longer a coach there. His decision, fired, just stepping away, etc. Not trying to stir up anything but you have to admit it is unusual especially since there seemed to be progress being made on the field.

If you read the posting on OHSAA it lists in Job Description "...football strategies that best fit our student-athletes". Sounds like certain people want to call the Offense (ie THROW THE BALL). IMO never a good sign when what you are going to run is posted in the job description.

Tipp is absolutely dominating overall athletics in the MVL. How long until everyone will starts calling for them to join a new league like when we were in the CBC?

nowhere to go. they’re a fit in the MVL. aren't big enough to play in the GWOC. a great D2 athletic program as they are competitive in about every sport.
