Saw a tweet from Rep. reporter Josh Weir that the Fed ADs will hold an emergency meeting on Monday to figure out a schedule. Lake AD Joe Bogdan told Weir the league will work around the Massillon-McKinley game in creating a league schedule.

I hope that is accurate in regards to the M-M game.

I hope so too but it does seem unfair to whichever team that has to find a 6th opponent.

Unless Green opts out, there are 7 schools in the league. The 6 games works, but not in 6 weeks. Each week leaves one without a league opponent.

You'd need the teams to not make a deep playoff run in order to finish the league schedule after the playoffs begin.

With this change in schedules. It will be interesting to see when the McKinley Massillon game is. If it is in the first 3 games of the year the transfers from Akron can play. If it is weeks 4-6 they can't. And what Fed Team won't play McKinley this year???

Does anyone know if Green started up practice this past week or are they going along with other Summit County schools and delaying sports?

What are you talking about, “the transfers from Akron”?

Not sure. I haven't seen anything on the Green district Website or the team twitter page about practices starting or being delayed. Nothing in the Rep or the Beacon Journal either.

Maxie. I remember reading the Canton Rep back in May that Massillon and McKinley both got transfers from some of the Akron City schools as Well as St. V's and Hoban

If transfers move into the public school district, they are eligible.

Very interesting. Glenoak loses a home game against Massillon WHS? Instead, they get Louisville. Okay?

Will all of this be like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic before it sank?

I wonder if this will be an advantage or disadvantage for Green when the playoffs start. On one hand, the Bulldogs won't have in-game experience until October, on the other hand, Green won't have to deal with as many injuries, and no one will be able to scout them.

Wonder why GlenOak was removed , or why they gave up their game with Massillon

Also wondering what we have to give Fitch to get out of that contract ?
