2019 Cleveland Browns

I guess these kids just aren't capable of thinking ahead. What other life opportunity will they ever have that pays them what they could have made in the NFL?

I think it's psychologically addictive. It becomes part of a coping mechanism for stress or socially anxiety or something similar, and then when people grow up baked maybe they have to stay half baked to handle things ?

No physical addiction that I've ever heard or read.
 
It’ll be interesting to see if the browns can continue this upward trajectory with all the expectations and hype they are getting.

Psychological dependence + intellectual limitations = profoundly bad decision making.

Evidently Duke's agent is a woman married to the infamous Luther Campbell of 2 Live Crew, and he's after Baker on Twitter.

Is Duke being a d00sh. Yup. His comments about the Browns' loyalty to him, after his many contributions got them 1-31, were beyond ludicrous. He's a solid player in my mind, but he has been essentially a healthy scratch, a series at a time. They haven't wanted to play him, for whatever reasons. They have little to be loyal to. He got his checks. Didn't make a difference. Good player on a sh1t team, then an inferior choice behind a rookie, now an OK player with an attitude problem. His contract is going to make him the 21st highest paid RB in the league. What has he accomplished, except get paid and make himself a tough trade ?

Was what Baker said correct ? Yup. Does Baker need to learn to shut up when the mic is in his face on some topics ? Yup.

Maybe Duke's recent dumb disloyalty comments made Baker think Duke was fair game, but contracts and trade requests are one place where the "face of the franchise" player SHOULD NOT represent the team. The media kind of baited a frustrated Duke into saying things he should not have said, and Mayfield has to know that. Brush the question aside.

Just heard some fool on the radio supporting Uncle Luke's cursing out of Mayfield and "Cracker-ing" him up. He was another race-baiting fool turning it into a black v. white issue.

Stop with pumping up the Duke drama. Are cheap clicks more important than the frigging actual game ? Why are you here, woman ?

Step back and pretend you have some football acumen. Write about the rest of the roster, how we match up positionally with divisional opponents, look ahead to the schedule. You know, the football part of "football team".

Write about football, you dumb tw@t, if you can.

She writes like a soap opera gossip columnist half of the time. She sucks, and needs to be replaced by someone that wants to break down the game, not the drama around it. Off-season or not, she's a joke.


She was in the right place at the right time when Grossi over-stepped his bounds, and we have been stuck with her ever since.

Ummm, now I don't unless he got it in grade school. Story I read was that he was a serious deviant. Players didn't want to room with him on the road because he'd watch porn and sit there on the bed, cranking it, in plain view. Heard his Hummer was in the parking lot, across from the Browns facility, and the staff was like "WTF?" Went over to see if something was wrong with him and caught him cranking it. Dude just has issues.
