About time we give some love to the Pup defense. They have held three straight team under their season scoring average, a couple quite a bit under. They defend the perimeter well and don't give away offensive rebounds. Great job by Coach V and the kids for buying into the defensive scheme.

As a barometer of how much of a sham this voting is - on the girls' side, GO and Wackerly in Columbus with 5 new starters and a mountain off off-the-court distractions, but he's not COY. Sad.

The Lake Blue Streaks will surprise. Nobody's talking about them. McBride the best coach in the league. Don't sleep on them.

Green returns 3 rotation players from last year. 6-5 junior forward Zach Oddo is the only returning starter. He scored about 12 per game last year. Trey Martin is a very athletic guard. Good defender and rebounder. Nathan Smith is a 6-5 center with a nice shot. Green will be big but young.
