20-21 Federal League Basketball

Im thinking that a bona fide change of residence must be 100 miles or greater to be eligible?
The bona fide move of parents into a new public school district triggers the choice of either a public high school in the new school district or any non-public high school. If, however, the new residence into which the family has moved is more than 100 miles from the residence from which the family moved as determined by mapquest.com or such other navigational system as adopted by the Board of Directors at its August meeting (using the most direct route), the student shall have the option to enroll contemporaneously with this move into any public high school. This amendment permitting any public school choice if the move is more than 100 miles, places an added obligation on the high school into which the student is transferring. It will no doubt be more difficult to verify that the parents have indeed moved into a different public school district than the one where the high school of choice is located, but that fact does not absolve the high school from making that determination.

more than 100 miles lets you move into any public high school in vincinity. That is directly from bylaws

So moving into canton city only means one public high school they can go to or Canton Central Catholic

Canton City schools just announced the next two weeks of games are postponed or cancelled. Perry was scheduled for 12/11

Jackson built a 12 point lead after one quarter. Lake was able to cut back on the turnovers and started chipping away at the lead in Q2. The Blue Streaks tied the game at the end of Q3 but was only able to muster one point in Q4.

Thanks for the updates.

I'm hearing more schools leaning towards a sports shutdown until 2021. The thinking is sports can go on after school is out so if spring sports don't start until April/May it can work, especially as vaccine is distributed in Jan - March.

When does McKinley play Perry? I think Perry could be the sleeper team in the League.
Very well coached. Think he’s been there going on 4 years. This is his team and program now. They are better. We’ll see what happens. Good luck

The schedule had Cleveland Central catholic playing Jackson today but now says Brush will meet Jackson today at 1:30?

Horizon Science Academy at Perry, postponed.

2020 can't get over soon enough.

A little early to say that but definitely better than last year. Decent size, great shooters, a bit sloppy with the ball at times. Brush was a good test.
That sums it up pretty good. 18 games left and a tough schedule at that. Skeriotis is fun to watch. I'd like to see them value possessions a little bit more. Also a little polish on the 3-on-2 that comes as a result of the guy with the ball beating his man. Jaret Pallotta and that gang was excellent at that.

Do you think they can beat McKinley?
Mck causes matchup problems because of Kobe. Take him away (tough to do) and they can go inside. I'd rather take my chances against them inside. McK the last few seasons can lose focus at times and keep less talented teams in games. The teams that beat Mck control the pace of the game and not fall into running with them. To answer your question if they can limit Kobe to 10-12 pts and make someone else beat them then yes.

Hoover down this year. Jax youth program keeps them from being down too long.

Also - a couple days ago Glen Oak beat up on some academy team.
