Whatever happens, this will be the first year since 2006 that the D2 final will not have Revere, Bay or CVCA playing in it.

That Bay result is a shocker, for sure! Bay had beaten Lexington 8-0 early in the year, too.

Moeller vs Lakota East - Moeller’s OT luck ends. Lakota East’s attack becomes too much.
Kilbourne vs Olentangy Liberty - They’ll go on to win state.
Milford vs St.Ignatius - Awesome to have 3 Cincinnati teams in regionals but this is where it ends for Milford.
Canton Hoover vs Medina - sets up a great state semifinal.

Tipp City vs Wyoming - This could determine the state champion.
Columbus Academy vs Holmes - crazy that holmes is even here.
Lexington vs Lima Shawnee - Hang over from the win over Bay bites Lexington.
Latin vs Howland - No idea.

D3
Seven Hills vs Botkins - Seven Hills got hot at the right time.
Webster vs Wellington - total guess
Ottawa Hills vs Bluffton - State Champs
Kidiron vs South Range - total guess

Lakota East vs. Moeller is the game Is like to see most Saturday. Lots of talent on the field that night. Wyoming vs Tipp City May have the biggest implications for state title.
 
Maybe this was already discussed elsewhere but the alignment of the brackets is messed up. How in the hell did the Soutwest 1 sectional/district end up in region 2? ?‍♂️

Spillover, basically. Region 4 had too many teams for 4 districts, so one of the 5 districts needed to get moved. Looks like Central had 4 districts, so Region 2 gets the 5th SW district.
 
Is there a bigger surprise at this point than West Holmes?

I'm not familiar with all the teams, but I had to scroll through 3 pages of Maher Rankings to find them

You were right. This was a great game to watch. Well played, physical, and intense by both teams. I'm not sure East's attack became too much for Moeller, as both goals were scored on corners. But they were definitely bringing it on offense. Honestly both teams were really strong offensively and defensively.

It was very similar to their first meeting early in the season. That was a game that East led almost the entire game only to let it go at the end. That was a problem East was exposed for in that game and it continued until the last third of the season, when they began to play strong soccer for the entire game and able to play with leads.
