2 cases went to the Supreme Court. both went against the church. I have trouble believing you didn't hear a whiff of this.I can't speak for every state, but I know that's not true for Ohio.
In Ohio?2 cases went to the Supreme Court. both went against the church. I have trouble believing you didn't hear a whiff of this.
Whoa! I hope that rant felt good. All I spoke on was wearing a mask lol. 75% wear masks? That is great! My area is the polar opposite at probably about 25%. Every area is different though. I agree live your life but hopefully with some sort of common sense. Wear a mask and social distance. If not fair enough it’s on you.I don't know where you live but this is just simply not true. The majority of people are wearing mask and social distancing. Maybe not as many as you like, but I would say 75% of people are doing both. That's hardly very few. The world cannot stop. People have to continue to live their lives. WE HAVE BEEN TOLD FOR MONTHS THAT WE WOULD SEE A DRASTIC INCREASE IN CASES IN THE FALL. With mitigation. This virus will run its course. I read an article last week that said in April 25% of people who entered the hospital with Covid died. That number is currently down to 7%. Doctors are learning how to treat patients. Death rates are dropping and that is the best we can hope for.
Jumping the gun here before Yappi posts his usual update:Hospitalizations up to 1,456 (3.5% increase from yesterday)
ICU patients up to 418 (2.4% increase from yesterday)
Ventilator patients up to 225 (4.1% increase from yesterday)
Death rate? Really the only stat that matters ??Jumping the gun here before Yappi posts his usual update:
Hospitalizations up to 1,536 (5.5% increase from yesterday, up 145% from a month ago)
ICU and ventilator counts essentially unchanged from yesterday (416 and 225).
Except for a few GOP Gov. the facts don't matter. Politicians are like managers they think they can control everything. This Can’t Be Emphasized Enough
Remember, these figures include the nursing home debacles & co-morbidity conditions and were taken before recent advances in treatments & therapeutics.
It may be the most important stat (and the seven-day rolling average is starting to tick upward as well on that), but not the only one that matters. I'm sure people who are in the hospital currently or have family members in the hospital don't agree with your statement.Death rate? Really the only stat that matters ??
FWIW, if your Aunt had balls, she'd be your uncle. ?It may be the most important stat (and the seven-day rolling average is starting to tick upward as well on that), but not the only one that matters. FWIW, if we increase at the same rate next month as we did this month from the previous, we'd be out of hospital beds.
Is this based on when the death is reported or when the death occurred?
Death occurred. Is this based on when the death is reported or when the death occurred?
Ok. Then, like the CDC numbers, there's probably going to be a lag between when the death occurred and when it gets reported, i.e. the most recent days probably aren't accurate.Death occurred.
Definitely. The last two weeks are considered preliminary numbers but the numbers can still go up (and occasionally down). After two weeks, there is some change but not too much outside a data dump once in a great while.Ok. Then, like the CDC numbers, there's probably going to be a lag between when the death occurred and when it gets reported, i.e. the most recent days probably aren't accurate.
Pretty sure the number one thing for people in the hospital is to live, to argue otherwise is pretty stupid ??It may be the most important stat (and the seven-day rolling average is starting to tick upward as well on that), but not the only one that matters. That's not what I'm arguing. But anytime somebody is in the hospital, that's a pretty significant negative event.Pretty sure the number one thing for people in the hospital is to live, to argue otherwise is pretty stupid ??
More than dying? And it’s exactly what you’re arguing, you keep saying ROI and ICU/hospitalizations are the most important stats. I’m merely correcting you that death rate is the most important ??That's not what I'm arguing. But anytime somebody is in the hospital, that's a pretty significant negative event.
Yes, death is the most important, but not the only important metric.More than dying? And it’s exactly what you’re arguing, you keep saying ROI and ICU/hospitalizations are the most important stats. I’m merely correcting you that death rate is the most important ??
People get sick, you do realize that right? If you told all 1600 that they are going to live I’m sure they would be pretty happy. I know you wouldn’t be happy because you so want this to be catastrophic. Once again, all the other stuff doesn’t matter, the virus is here and can’t be stopped until the human body stops it ??Yes, death is the most important, but not the only important metric.
The common argument seems to be that if you don't die from COVID then everything is just fine and there's nothing to worry about. There's currently 1,600 people in Ohio hospital beds that would disagree with you.
I'm sure they're all just tickled pink about being in the hospital.People get sick, you do realize that right? If you told all 1600 that they are going to live I’m sure they would be pretty happy. You refuse to listen, so there is no sense to continue. I for one, hope the death rate continues to decline and we have the population defeat this virus. You, I’m sure, won’t give a rats behind if Biden winsI'm sure they're all just tickled pink about being in the hospital.
Being in the hospital is devastating from both a health and financial perspective for most people. The impact of this pandemic is significant no matter how you want to minimize it to support your political perspective. The fact remains that we are not in a lockdown, the virus is raging, thousands are sick and dying, and the stock market and the economy is tanking. Notheing will get better until this sh*tshow is under control.People get sick, you do realize that right? If you told all 1600 that they are going to live I’m sure they would be pretty happy.
