Who would be joining the Suburban League America division

Stow is still bigger. Stow is largest in National. Not best in football, but largest!

    Canton Central Catholic @ Mogadore

IS CCHS any good this year? An old friend from college (Malone) has a son that goes there and he is making them out to be really bad.

Week 7: Which games are you headed to?

The Wildcats are really down this year, but their schedule is almost laughably weak the rest of the way. I think they will pull it out this Friday.

Week 7: Which games are you headed to?

They will not lose the rest of the way. They will end up 6-4.

    Suburban League National 2024

Nope. Never thought I would see it happen. A bit strange since the population has stayed pretty much the same. Aging population I suppose. I feel that pain! LOL

    Stow-Munroe Falls @ Medina (Week 1)

They definitely have one, Daylon Keeling. He was it last year as a soph. Guess they have a good TE (a Junior) that is getting D-1 looks. Not sure they have a RB or defense.

    Suburban League National 2024

*Yes, things would be a lot different had Nori stayed. Stow has not changed...it's not like the residents stopped producing good football players/athletes. Many started leaving for private schools, obviously.* *Stow was never going to beat St. Eds or Hoban. *I myself am not convinced that...

    Suburban League National 2024

It's not a "take". Phillips was a very solid football coach, but he was nearing the end of his career, and he had neither the energy or the desire to put into the feeder program, which suffered greatly. The once mighty youth program fell of the rails shockingly fast, leaving Poder with a...

    Suburban League National 2024

Well, even a talented QB needs an OL, RB, and more than one decent WR, who was a soph.

    Suburban League National 2024

Stow might win a few games this fall. Talented QB and supposedly a solid sophomore class, and it would not take much to improve over the last 2 years. Still don't think I have seen a program collapse this quickly, save for maybe Cincinnati Colerain, which went 0-10 after years of being a state...

Stow last second shot to win over Cuyahoga Falls 53-51

Falls is the best one-win team in the area save for the Irish. Not a bad team at all. And Stow is inconsistent... struggles in half court because they have one player over 6'1 in the lineup, and he is a 6'6" wing, albeit a VERY good one.

    Summit County Basketball 2023-24

He has already signed with Marquette. Edit: They have the top senior in the state for 2024 (according to many) that has signed with Marquette, and a top junior (class of 25) that is going power 5. Who is going to beat WRA this season!?!? yikes!

    Summit County Basketball 2023-24

Stow has 3 really talented, proven players returning, but looks like they will have no inside force this season. Raymond Smith is their tallest player at 6'6", but he is a wing all the way. The 3 guys are Marconi (Jr) at PG, Fleishour (Sr) at SG and Raymond-Smith at the wing. A very good...

    Stow (1-6) @ Wadsworth (6-1)

Sadly, can't argue, except for MAYBE the head coach part. Keep hearing that the previous coach, nearing retirement, did nothing for the feeder (youth) program and left a shockingly bare cupboard for Poder. At least the sophomore class has some talent, but....
