I'm not Massillon supporter, but they did beat the D1 champ two years in a row, so it's not like they're running from high level competition.
I've heard a lot about Glenville, surely OHSAA would notice if there was some obvious subversion of enrollment numbers?
Why? The general consensus around here has been that the playoff expansion is unpopular, and it pits poorly performing teams against the top tier competition, where the difference in speed, strength, etc can and will cause more injuries.
For lower seeds winning:
Southern will likely put a running clock on Windham.
Lucas could beat Malvern, look for that to be competitive.
Ditto with St Paul/Cy Heights.
1. I’m sure Massillon wouldn’t mind playing D1 considering they’ve beaten the D1 champ 2 years in a row.
2. Doesn’t Marion Local have a really low CB number?
I'm no Mooney supporter, but 6 years ago, Mooney blew out 1-9 Ursuline, who had lost to East. These things come in cycles, especially at smaller schools.
