    Weather adjusting games start times

People can make Pirates, Guardians or Reds 6:40 p.m. starts on Fridays no problem but the 7 p.m. game down the street is just too much to bare.

#15, 2-6, "Control Own Destiny"...THE PLAYOFFS KINDA SUCK.

You can keep 16 but take it to 6 divisions again. If you insist on D7 then it should revert to 8. If coaches want to end 16 teams, run up the score and stick some 100 spots on teams. It will embarrass OHSAA and get the gears moving.

Use of Drones at OHSAA Football Games

How many of these drone pilots really are licensed or have even attempted to read regulations?

Recommendations and Suggestions for Making Friday Nights Better at the Stadium

One band plays a pregame show, another does the halftime. Cut the half down to 15 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous it pushes a half hour. Mandatory in-game stat keeping for all home teams. Baseball and basketball have scorekeepers. It should be asked the same of varsity football which is a 5 or...

Vouchers (Good for Ohio or Not?)

I don't know if this applies to Ohio but Florida's voucher system just got exposed for giving money to parents for Disney/Universal Studios tickets and PS5s.

Wrap your brain around this one: Bristol vs East Palestine Tournament game

I think Jon Husted got involved behind the scenes seeing as he went there to meet with the EP teams less than 24 hours after Bristol tried to get the game moved.

    Paul Cusick to East Liverpool

OVAC wins still equal first or second round playoff exits in most cases.

    YSN

Broadcast rights fees are fairly standard business practices for sports organizations. Schools should take a look at the YSN books every now and then to make sure they (and tax payers) are getting a fair shake. Without access to the sports, they have no product.

    YSN

It's fine for what it is but it should stay in its lane when WKBN is broadcasting the same games live over the air or on a stream. Also not sure about the ethics of using all volunteer labor to benefit basically one guy.

Supreme Court Sides With HS Football Coach Who Prayed At Midfield After His Team's Games

There is going to be a race to the bottom in doing pregame prayer circle jerks. It's going to be a prayer arms race across high school football and it will be embarrassing.

OHSAA: NIL Proposal is defeated 68-32

I guess they will waste money fighting it in the courts and also lose by a wide margin.

    8:00 ?????

Same people complaining about 7 p.m. high school starts would have their butts in the seats for Reds, Guardians, Blue Jackets and Cavaliers games by 7 p.m. on a Friday with no issue. If 7 is good enough for the pros, it's good enough for high school. Also, school personnel have often been at...

Ohio High school football not as powerful as once was?

Too many school districts. You consolidate a lot of them and you will clean up a lot of quality problems (across all athletics).

    Division V, Region 17 Final: #2 South Range (13-0) vs. #1 Kirtland (12-0)

South Range is a good program but the other 'good' programs in that league should not be letting a D5 team steamroll them. There is too much pride and history there for that to consistently be happening. If it does continue into the future then that is just an indictment of the downfall of...

    Division V, Region 17 Final: #2 South Range (13-0) vs. #1 Kirtland (12-0)

The Northeast 8 is not good and does not prepare you for this.

    Division V, Region 17 Final: #2 South Range (13-0) vs. #1 Kirtland (12-0)

South Range has already made too many mistakes.

    Division V, Region 17 Final: #2 South Range (13-0) vs. #1 Kirtland (12-0)

That pick 6 was not ideal for Range but they did the right thing by switching the focus to Dominguez.

Football teams across Ohio to wear camouflage jerseys in honor of 9/11 First Responders

If only it was a heartfelt real gesture and not a DOD marketing gimmick.
