    Week 7: Trinity

Sound like QB isn't the only position that was influenced by outside factors this season. St. X needs to turn the page on 2024 and this era of Bomber football. I've watched St. X for 30+ years and never witnessed coaches accept mediocrity or be unwilling to make necessary personnel changes...

    Week 7: Trinity

I've heard Specht and Littelmann are responsible for the play calling. It's predictable/vanilla, plus some personnel decisions have limited the playbook and offensive creativity. This isn't an overnight issue, but now going on 25 games. St. X fans are already looking forward to the 2025...

    Week 7: Trinity

St. X has made barely any personnel or scheme changes all season on offense. Same story, different week vs. a good opponent. The play calling and QB situation has been mindboggling. After 2 1/2 seasons, they clearly go hand and hand. St. X continues to struggle picking up inside LB blitzes...

    Harrison (OH) Realignment Discussion

Harrison needs Sycamore to join the ECC and the ECC needs to move on from Walnut, who is in over their heads in athletics. Harrison to the GMC would be a nice fit as their community continues to grow. GMC is starting to clearly become the has and the has nots, so maybe Harrison should make a...

Colerain hasn’t won a game in 2 years

Public schools and open enrollment has only benefitted Lakota West (w/Bolden), Winton Woods and now looks like Princeton has jumped on the transfer train in D1. This has widen the gap between the few public schools on top and rest of the field. Reminds me of the NBA and the Big 3 concept.

    Week 6: Elder

Elder rushed three almost all night with #5 as spy (solid player) and didn't have to blitz. Why? Elder knew St. X couldn't beat them with #7 at QB and passing. Until last pass play of game, #7 completed a RB screen, RB swing pass in flat, and a short TE (good catch/high pass) out for a total...

    Week 6: Elder

The reverse on 3rd down and 4 in Elder's territory had the stands confused.

    Week 6: Elder

#7 hasn't been the best option the past three seasons. 4 for 13 at 31% completion rate, 2 INTs, 76 yards (58 of those yards thanks to #3 with 57 seconds left in game) vs Elder who's defense who has been plagued with multiple season ending injuries and is clearly undersized. Elder basically...

    Week 5: Evil Empire

#3 is terribly inaccurate throwing the ball. Did we all miss a game or a series? Just in case you missed it #3 Pass vs Moe play action, pressured, stepped up, found open man, TD. St. X gave the stats to #7, which was truly 10 for 28 120 yards (36% completion). With it being Elder week, here...

    Week 6: Elder

#7 has shown the ability to scramble, compared to past seasons. His completion % (52%) and yards per catch (6.7 avg) are almost identical to last year, so not sure St. X's O can be described as rolling. Question for this week, will #3 and the wildcat package make its debut again vs. Elder...

    Week 5: Evil Empire

He's an athlete and could play multiple positions on offense and defense. Of course, besides QB.

    Week 5: Evil Empire

I'm not sure poaching from the OL is the full-time answer, but could be a temporary solution at times. The OL has shown to have some issues too, but neither the DL or OL have been addressed. A roster the size of St. X, I'd imagine they have some personnel options, plus the coaching staff has...

    Week 5: Evil Empire

#7 now a running and scrambling QB, which is #3's skill set and has a stronger arm. Underutilized is one of many words to describe how #3 is being used and/or not the past two years. As for defense, most major D1 hs squads don't play guys both ways full-time. However, some isolated or game...

    Week 5: Evil Empire

Not sure on personnel, but #49 came in briefly after an injury. St. X won't abandon the 3-3 Stack, but varying looks upfront (4 DL, 2 DL/2 stand up DEs) might help from a scheme perspective on occasion. Moe ran out at least 5 DL during the game Friday and had a clear rotation.

    Week 5: Evil Empire

#11 was a huge loss on DL and you aren't replacing his talent or production. Kinda gets me back to original point. Keep the inexperienced and undersized DL fresh by having a small rotation. Keep motors running and might catch lightning in a bottle.

    Week 5: Evil Empire

Unfortunately, couldn't make it to game and just watched the replay on ESPX. Looked like a solid crowd and cheering sections. St. X's CBs on the outside struggled covering and tackling. The Bomber DL again got no pressure on QB. They are undersized and aren't contributing much to stop the...

    Week 5: Evil Empire

It was a joke and/or the truth, but either way calm down Frances. :)

    Week 5: Evil Empire

Glad the young man received care and the medical staff/trainers did their jobs. I only watched first half of game on ESPX, but both secondary looked to struggle. Moe clearly caught the football better. Drops passes and fumbles are a killer at any level.

    Week 5: Evil Empire

Same reason you are posting on a St. X thread. Just comical banter back and forth. ;) Plus we all know why Moe hasn't hired a new President. They got to supplement the "tuition free" RB, QB, and half the basketball team somehow.

    Week 5: Evil Empire

It's a glorified practice field, so don't kid yourself or try to upsell the inadequate seating and lack of lights. Moe's baseball facility is first-class. Got to take in a St. X/Moe game there last season. Other than bleachers (in future plans?) it's a solid venue, so Crusaders obviously can...
