I just looked up where Menominee is. It's on the Michigan/Wisconsin border in the most Southwestern part of the UP. They have to drive across the entire UP, then down the entire state. That's insane. It's only 45 minutes further to drive through Wisconsin and Chicago, and down I94 to Detroit.

My son's team (DVI) made it to the 3rd round of the playoffs, and all 3 games were well attened by both schools. The 3rd round, they had to travel 1:30 and still had one of the bigger if not biggest crowd that I've seen them have.

It’s not that difficult. Through Regionals it’s the higher seed. So if an #8 vs #4 even though #8 is on top, #4 is higher. So, #4 is Home For the State Semis (Final 4) and Finals, it’s top of bracket.
