Wasn’t comparing ML to St Iggy. He specifically asked if Goodwin is a great coach. Yes, he absolutely is. Then I mentioned if OP though other great coaches would succeed at the places OP mentioned.

Would Chuck Kyle succeed at those places? Tiger LaVerde? Chip Otten? Tim Tyrell? I mean you could plug any of the great current coaches and ask the same question. Goodwin is, in my opinion, the best HS coach in Ohio ever with using what he has (not being at a huge 1000+ enrollment school where...

So basically almost every team who plays Marion Local.

I think it says more than anything that a schools (Dalton) probably best team of all time isn’t favored over a ML team that lost a lot from last year. Kinda crazy honestly and just insane what ML has accomplished.

Mistakes/turnovers don’t help either.
