I was at this game tonight. Ursuline brought a nice crowd.....St. Joe's not so much. Regardless, you could have found a place to sit on either side with no trouble at all.

The Marlington Dual meet round robin is held every year on the second weekend of OHSAA competition. When the start of this season was moved back one week we stuck with the second weekend of competition which caused a conflict for a few teams. Thus, we are in need of two more teams. Here are...

A move from West Branch to Hudson is, possibly, a $15,000 or more pay raise.

Not sure of the process to get to $50. I believe the plan was to try and cover, or at least put a dent in, transportation costs to away events.

Marlington (bordering Louisville to the north) has had $50 "PTP" for years. Reasonable in my opinion.

37-36 Salem The match ended in a tie 36-36. Salem was awarded the win on criteria #5 (least forfeits given).

Mike Keating is now retired. He's a fantastic guy who loves Stark County sports of all kinds. His journalism and passion will be missed. On a side note, earlier this month he was inducted into the Alliance Top Gun Wrestling Tournament Hall of Fame for his decades of coverage of the tournament...

On the basketball court BMRH must have been like a................"Sasquatch in a china shop"!!!!!

Rumor has it that a few years ago BMRH tried to throw another legend, Rae McDonald, off the floor. Just as BMRH was about to launch "Rae-Rae" into the mezzanine, Rae broke out his 'massage stick' and tamed the wild beast.

The Top Gun Wrestling Tournament is famous for three things..... 1. Excellent wrestling and an efficiently run tournament 2. An amazing hospitality room for coaches and officials ***and most importantly.... 3. The legendary figure known as "The Big Man in The Red Hat". (BMRH for short)...
