Yes, that is what they do but you don’t see it because grand jury proceedings are not public. If a grand jury is not convinced they don’t indict. I’ve been there.

Not true in Hamilton County. I served on a grand jury. We did not indict every case. Is there a reasonable chance a crime was committed? Usually but not always. The prosecutors would be annoyed sometimes but we did the right thing.

Prosecutors do not indict. They ask a grand jury to indict. Prosecutors must have sufficient evidence of a crime to convince the grand jury to issue an indictment. That’s an important step that you skipped.

In 2023 I’d hate to say the links work fine if you’re not using a cell phone. I’d guess over 90% are using their cell phone to look for results.

Exactly. Which goes back to my original point. The weapons have been here long before the mass murders. Why aren’t we working on the real problem instead of the constant in the equation?

How many lives would you realistically save by banning them? I don’t know. I do know I could easily carry four handguns that each hold 15 rounds. It goes back to my point that when you ban something a homicidal maniac will just choose the next available weapon. Where does it end?

Banning ARs is so pointless. There are other rifles that perform the same way with similar ammo but without the scary military appearance. The maniacs will just pick the next weapon of choice. Will you then ban that type? Where does it stop? You are FAR more likely to be murdered by a handgun...

Americans have had guns and access to guns since the beginning. Something else has changed. Why are people not obsessed with finding out what it was that changed and working on fixing that? Instead, they fixate on the one part of the equation that has never changed.
