I’d imagine this is common in the ECC ? The Eastern Cincinnati Conference certainly isn’t a “cash strapped” league. Districts have to keep up with their leagues.

That’s the issue. As determined by who ? “Top program in the state” determined by a vote of sportswriters. There were strong teams in SW Ohio for example who felt otherwise but the sportswriters ?made the call. Now Titles are won via playoff gauntlet and the rest is Yappi lore history
