106 - B. Jordan (Graham)
113 - M. Yarbrough (Copley)
120 - Seefeldt (St. Edward)
126 - Norris (LaSalle)
132 - Delsanter (St. Edward)
138 - Blaze (Perrysburg)
145 - Martin (Graham)
152 - V. Voinovich (Brecksville)
160 - Gallagher (St. Edward)
170 - Conley (Tiffin Columbian)
182 - Perrine (Nordonia)
195 - Shumate (D. Coffman)
220 - Ben Vanadia (Brecksville)
285 - Weaver (H. Darby)

As an objective human being, I think most of these are pretty straight forward. I do see room for argument at 120 and 132. Those also happen to probably be the weakest in terms of the top kid and where they fit nationally.

I quite frankly DO NOT CARE that Vanadia had an injury preclude him from the state tournament. He was the best kid in the weight over the course of the season.

Hard to argue with your choices. I would put Archbolds Carson Meyer at 182, because I'm a homer like that ?

Campbell handily beats Yarbrough. Yarbrough is a great wrestler, to be sure. But this is clearly a misjudgment. Would love to see the match, however.

BTW, Campbell tech-pinned Jordan earlier in the year and would give Seefeldt a run for his money at 120.

I was gonna make the claim that campbell wins all 3 divisions at 13 & 20

What would an All-Star matchup of the two best state champs in each weight look like? Just taking a stab at it, might look something like this. Who you taking at each weight?

Fishback and Shumate is toss up. Martin, Brown and Ours is all toss up matches. Each capable of beating each other. Alot of other weights same thing. Alot of matches went into OT. Hopefully people watched all the matches before concocting their list of favorites.

Fishback vs Shumate is one I really hope to see next year at some big tournament. NC State vs Ohio State commit.
Also would have loved to see Snider vs Valadia. Note, Snider didn't allow a single offensive point this season.
All four of them were very dominant in their own fashion.

Alek Martin won super 32 this past fall. Brown was in the bracket and DNP. They did not wrestle each other H2H though.

Y’know - we could have seen these matches this weekend. ...if we have ONE DIVISION!!!!!

actually,as I typed that, I wondered, “Could we have had a state tournament this year if we only had ONE DIVISION??”

Just thinking.
