D1-MurphyAustin Murphy is going to St. Louis!
Austin Murphy of Campbell University punched his ticket to the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships in St. Louis when he won the Southern Conference 174 pound title with a 9-3 victory over Thomas Flitz of Appalachian State. I know Elder grads have earned wrestling All-American status (top eight) and won at least one title at another NCAA level (Connor Craig, 2019, 174, D-II) and at least one NAIA title (Tom Pretty, 2010, 133), but I don't know if an Elder grad has ever earned AA in D-I; this year, Murphy has a chance.
In any case, congratulations to Murphy and best of luck in St. Louis.
Last week someone asked that question and I said I was pretty sure it wouldn't be; naturally, I was wrong. Will it be streamed?
What's up with Baums Page, it doesn't seem to be updating. I know they started wrestling at 10am but Zero results on the page. Kinda disappointing actually. I will not pay $25 for just the coverage they are offering. Not worth the money.Kettering Fairmont District Tournament - Day 3, 106-145
