I am repulsed by the people who have worked tirelessly for more than 400 years to convince black people that our skin color is our most prized asset and defining characteristic. This conceit originally led to our physical enslavement. It has now led to our mental enslavement.

The stewards of the zeitgeist — i.e. the spirit, mood, characteristics of a particular time in history — have persuaded black people to pursue blackness above all else, above faith, intelligence and freedom.

Black Lives Matter is a mega church for the religion of blackness. LeBron James and Colin Kaepernick are pastors at the Nike denomination of BLM. It was James’ and Kaepernick’s responsibility to change the culture of sports from worship of God to worship of blackness.

White liberals have convinced black people to take God out of the equation and replace Him with Barack Obama, LeBron James, Dr. Harry Edwards, Colin Kaepernick, Black Lives Matter and all the other approved symbols of unapologetic blackness.

I object to this insanity. Love of my skin color is not America’s salvation. Random white people loving me is not the key to my happiness, freedom or success in this country.

The antipathy toward religion is the greatest tell. Marxism and its political soulmates, socialism and communism, cannot exist in a faith-based society or culture.

Clearly Harry didn't read the article. Probably better.

The cancel culture using fear and white guilt to reduce people to just a skin color. Black people are just like others in that working to achieve a goal means as much to me as it does you. Such a culture robs many minorities by thinking handouts will assuage their guilt. Socialism doesn't work for Black people either.

Guy coaching the Steelers is a good coach. I wonder if wants praise as a good coach in the NFL or he is a good black coach in the NFL.
 
But it's not just Black people. If White politicians would quit giving handouts it would help. It's human nature to want something free.
 
I see Hubman is avoiding this one. He would most likely lump the writer in with Candace Owens, which by the way, he still hasn't explained how Candace is hurting the black man. It's amazing to watch when a person of color decides to work as one with culture instead of constantly emphasizing their blackness, then that person is crucified by the people like hubman and Happy. I don't see Happy or hubman agreeing at all with the article because it goes against the hate they rather promote.

Not only is Whitlock truly woke, he actually thinks like a grown man and commands a true intellectual approach to the topic of race.
 
Still no word from Happy and Hubman?!?!?! I lump those two in with Jesse Jackson and Al Shaprton. Race baiters only out there preaching hate and really not looking for a viable solution.

Funny how it's all in the eyes of the beholder. I used to travel with an African-American to manufacturing plants in small town America. Whenever he and I went into a "local" restaurant he'd always make a big deal with how many looks we got because he was black. The truth is I would get the same looks when I went in by myself or with other whites because Small Town America tends to be suspicious of any stranger on their home turf. But in my co-worker's eyes it was only because he was black.
 
That article is a bunch of words signifying nothing. There is no church of Black color or what ever he is saying. Do we try to see the beauty in our melanin, well yes after 400 years being told your less than because of that pigmentation, be it in federal laws, state laws , neighborhood codes, on, tv in music, in the arts. do we try to reverse some of that now by acknowledging there is some positivity in having some hue to your skin, yes. But no there is no worshipping, just trying to reverse 400 plus years of brainwashing.
 
Congrats. You are so brainwashed about how you should see yourself you are blind to the truths in this article. We could be even more now if we get our off the woe-is-us train and just be our best. We are more than melanin.
 
I’m torn on this one ... I see some truth on both sides ... having a victim mentality is not the way to solve a problem ... but neither is being blind to there is a problem ... the smartest thing said so far on there is about having honest conversation ... as I see it neither side is willing to admit that they are part of the problem ... both sides just want to place blame on the other instead of really looking at the problem ... I would like to see both sides admit they could do more to make it better ... is there racism in this country ... absolutely ... but there will always be some racism as long as we identify with races ... it is human nature to feel more comfortable with someone you identify as similar to you ... personally I feel there is more classism than racism ... a poor person is treated less equally in this country no matter the race ... is some it their own fault ... yes ... and some of it is the way they are treated ... if we really want to improve things in this country we have realize and acknowledge the fact that not all people are treated equally ... but on the other hand, the under privileged need to not have a victim’s mentality and do whatever they can to change their own circumstance ... and not look for someone else to do it for them.
