Following in the footsteps of Virginia Beach and Louisville, Gainesville just opened a new state of the art indoor 200m banked track in the interest of "economic development."

There's no future for 200 or 300 indoor flat tracks in the D1 collegiate ranks for competition. What's left of 200m/300m indoor flat tracks will be used for training only.

Not so much XC, but some schools will have athletes start in summer school. This way, their HS academic stats (GPA, test scores, # of AP classes) won’t be included with the school’s fall incoming class stats thus helping with school academic rankings.

Many of your private junior highs are not members of the OHSAA. This allows for more flexibility with number of kids playing on out of season teams, who the school can schedule during season (non-interscholastic teams, AAU), redshirting, etc... So, if its a private junior high, they could...
