Mooney keeps getting solid results, drawing Canfield 0-0 yesterday in a matchup of state ranked teams.

Howland with a nice 4-0 win at Boardman. Still only 3 goals conceded all year.

Poland with a slim 1-0 home win over South Range

Lake Catholic 1
Padua 0

Goal midway through the 2nd half for Padua disallowed even though video shows the goalie falling into the goal with the ball. :cautious:

ETA: If anyone cares to - you can watch the sequence from this point on:

First of all, terrible angle and distance to conclude anything

Second, looks like he keeps the ball out and actually has to recover it outside the goal after falling down?

Third, while the AR is isn't in PERFECT position he's not far behind the play.

Fair points, although I think the ball was in the goalie's hands as he comes down and he moves it outside the goal after he comes down.

Ranked scores from up this way

Howland 2
Fitch 0

Canfield 4
Boardman 0

United 4
Warren JFK 1

Moeller 3
St. Charles 3

Indian Hill 2
Summit Country Day 0

I heard both of these were intense games. Moe heading for another top 3 seed in D1. Summit losing at the wrong time, and IH on a streak right now. Seeding for D2 should be interesting.

Poland clinched their conference last night. Shouldn't lose again.

Howland and Canfield will likely play for their conference title next week at Canfield.

Fitch is now 2-9-2 on the year. One of those wins a forfeit. Having a tough transition under the new coach.

Mooney is rolling now. A trip to the Final Four looks to be in the cards. Pardon the pun.
