Rankings

It'll be easier to rank districts, when the sectional draws come out.
I know in the barnesville/Sandy valley pool, there are a few teams that switch it up.
I believe Shenandoah and Coshocton have picked both sites recently
Do you know when the sectionals draw comes out?

Looking at Boro just now
Pleasant - 132, 138, 144, 150, 157, 165, 175, 190, 215
Elgin 144, 157, 190

Both the 190s wrestled in the 215 class
Pleasants 150&175 didnt wrestled against Elgin, teammates said the 215 is done

So on paper for what rankings are worth thats still 6 ranked kids for Pleasant to Elgins 3 in the line up yet Elgin still won 45-33
Wow. Someone really doesn’t like Marion Pleasant but seems to stalk them heavily. Bro I was just sharing info for context and I complimented Elgin multiple times. Pleasant also beat Elgin by 100 points at a tourney the week before so ??‍♂️

And aren’t you the guy who started all the rumors about the Luft kid being out, and turned out to be not true?

Definitely not me starting rumors.

Was posted on a D3 thread for the district hours before I saw it

Also as anyone in wrestling knows, tournament and dual scoring is very different. But I like what you did there. If we are just hand picking tournaments check out the Don Wasserbeck at North Union

I think you throwing around accusations and trash talk about a child potentially struggling in school says a lot about you. As a forum we should all agree that those kinds of distasteful comments should be off limits.

That was from his team mates at the meet last Wednesday. But alright very distasteful....

Which 215 is done? Pleasant?

I wouldn’t believe anything that “No Throws” would post. If you go back to his previous posts, there is a clear credibility issue.

I mean, he attacked a young man that is allegedly struggling with grades! Who does this? C’mon man.
Agreed. He admittedly is repeating rumors he said he heard from some other kids at a meet.

I see where barnesville dropped D King to 120 and R Stephen to 126.
On paper it makes sense, however, I'm not so sure.
120 has possibly the best pound for pound wrestler in the state, Dillon Campbell.
Then throw in Duncan and Caprella..(caprella has beaten King already).
I think the best path is to bump everyone up one class.
The rocks have at least 5 that will make the state, now jockey them around to get the best possible chance at that title.
Best of wishes in the post season. Barnesville has built a fine program

Campbell is a monster, but so is Shore. I don't think that makes much difference. I doubt they are going to run King or Stephen away from competition. Especially at the expense of the rest of the kids on that team.

Barnesville does have a solid program.

Campbell tech called shore 17-2.
I'd say there is a difference

I think you have your Shores crossed. Campbell beat Cooper Shore, not Max Shore. Either way, both Cambell and Max Shore are front runners by a wide margin at 120 and 126.
You would be correct.
It was Cooper who was tech falled.
It is enjoyable having conversations with folks who do some research.
Thank you

I agree that team is always loaded in the lower to medium weights

Looking through results I see he has not been competing for weeks so it checks out. I was told that Herbert had an injury and also has not been wrestling all season long. Walker from Malvern has decided not to continue wrestling)

Luft wrestling at districts? Griffith from Marion Pleasant? Has Barnesville figured out what they are doing with R. Stephen?
Luft Collected 2 pins and a default in the LCL finals on 2/19 at 120 weight

Griffith was not in the line up at State Duals or the MOAC league meet for Pleasant and not in the rankings on the BFA
