After early rain delay we have about 15 to go in Daytona. Early wreck before the delay wiped out like 1/3 of the field. Big story right now is the pit strategy this last stage. Setting up to be a good finish!

So much for all the pit strategy. What a finish. Interviews with a lot of the drivers going on now. General feeling seems to be it was just one of those things.

Didn't take long for Kyle Larson to pick up his first win as he dominated the last half of the race in Vegas. An uber talented racecar driver driving for Hendrick with a great pit crew could be very bad news for other drivers. We are going to hear his name a lot this year and probably for years to come.

Met him and his mom up at Muskingkum Speedway. Seemed like great people and him running dirt track for a year might have been best for his career. Now all those fans root for him

Been watching and following Kyle since the first time I saw him at Eldora when he won all 3 divisions of the 4 crown nationals, think it was maybe 2011. Knew then he was going to be something. Sad 6 years of his career was wasted with Ganassi, though he did quite well in less than good equipment. He's just a wheelman, greatest racing talent we have seen since AJ Foyt.

And yes his family is class. Saw him in many sprint car and midget races. Kid is all about the gas for sure.
