A little Interesting perspective as well from the big 9 local conferences.

Indian Hill / Monroe - Super pleased to see the Hill adapt and overcome
Badin / Carroll - Really tough game last meeting.
Oakwood / Tipp

These are all kind of lackluster in my opinion
Oak Hills / Centerville (really wanted to see Loveland vs. Centerville)
Lakota West / Milford
MND / Miamisburg
Mason / Beavercreek - Perhaps the most interesting game

CCD / Lehman Catholic - Lehman fought Summit well
Madeira / Anna
Mariemont / Bethel - Is Mariemont the most dangerous team right now?

I've seen Anna and Sidney Lehman play....they are amazing.

Just going to take a crack at D1:

Milford vs Lakota West ---> Lakota West 2-0
Lakota is only getting more dangerous. They could have (and should have) beat Mason earlier in the season. Big bump in the road with the 5-0 loss to MND, but this team's firing on all cylinders now. Remains to be seen if their D can take them further.

Centerville vs Oak Hills ---> Centerville 1-0
I was surprised to see Loveland fall to Oak Hills. They only lost 4 seniors after last season. Guess that was enough. Oak Hills looks legit, but Centerville's D wins this one.

Beavercreek vs Mason ---> Beavercreek 2-1
This one really could go either way, but my gut says Creek sneaks out a win. Mason has a strong striker and controls the midfield well, but their D comes up short in this one. Creek's attack looked stellar in the last round with Centerville.

Mount Notre Dame vs Miamisburg ---> MND 4-0
Can anyone stop MND? Hard to believe they went 8-9 last year! This one could really get out of hand. I wouldn't be surprised to see MND win 6-0.

Milford vs Lakota West - 4-1 KD is playing absolute lights out right now. Milford missing top scorer
Centerville vs Oak Hills - 3-0 My opinion Oak hills got very lucky
Beavercreek vs Mason - 3-2 I think Mason is just a little too much for Creek
Mount Notre Dame vs Miamisburg - 4-2 Miamisburg is challenged on D but their forward is the real deal. Just not enough

D2:
Monroe vs Indian Hill - 3-0 Monroe has a very impressive D and a solid attack. Indian Hill has been too inconsistent.
Badin vs Carroll - 1-0 Total guess, Badin keeper is good.
Oakwood vs Tippecanoe - 3-2 OT Alter win will give Oakwood some confidence.

D3
Waynesville vs Dayton Christian - 8-0 Just way too much of an attack for DC's Defense. CCD scored 6 on them so it may be worse...
Madeira vs Anna - 3-1 Madeira has more talent than Anna has seen this year. Madeira has 3 1 goal losses to great teams
Bethel vs Mariemont - 4-0 Someone else said it, Mariemont is playing very well.
Lehman Catholic vs Cincinnati Country Day - 2-0 Lehman won't get past the D or the keeper.

Yes, she is. Unfortunately, Katie doesn't get enough touches against the better teams. They only scored once in three meetings with Creek (scored by Katie), and then recently only once against a below-average Northmont D (scored by a teammate).
 
I think the biggest question would be, how legit are Centerville and Beavercreek? They haven't really been tested. The GWOC this year was a 2 team show in Centerville and Beavercreek. So both teams have not really been tested. It will be interesting to see if they are legit or not or how they stack up to Mason and Oak Hills. Both Mason and Oak Hills have been tested this year with good results against good teams.
 
Oak Hills has been tested, but how solid are the results? That's debatable. No question they hit high notes beating Loveland and only losing to
LW 3-2, but the loss to Fairfield and the tie with Sycamore makes you hesitate.

It will be interesting to see what happens for sure. Even if Centerville or Creek manage to get past both and reach the Regional Final, I think it ends there. Neither will match up well against MND or Lakota West.

Definitely hard to gauge the GWOC this year. Will be interesting to see how Creek does against Mason at 1pm. Could be a tell tale sign of how Miamisburg and Centerville do later.

Yeah looks like Oak Hills has also tied Mason, another good result. Definitely a few head scratchers in there, but seem to be playing well down the stretch. They have a really good offense based on results and stats. Creek and Mason, and OH and Cville seem to be the best matchups if you ask me. I think the other 2 won't be that close.

It is hard to gauge them, and Creek/Mason is probably the most intriguing matchup this round, but I don't think the result will tell us much about how the other two will turn out. A bad loss or a great win can often just mean the two teams matched up poorly at one position. You never know!

I just noticed that if Beavercreek and Centerville both win, they play each other next. that would be the 4th time they play this year? And a rematch of MND and West if they both make it through.
 
Mason 1-0 Creek. This one played out like I thought it would. Low scoring and physical and not really decided until the end. Mason did a great job defending Creek’s young talented striker #21, and holds on to win. Creek’s defensive blunder they let In the goal early was all it took. Congrats Comets.
