2020 Predictions & favorites

I heard from soccer parents that there is a plan to live stream the game Thursday. I will post something here if/when i get a link or whatever.

D2 seems to be the most poised for changes due to any enrollment adjustments.

Both finalists were very close to D1.

Howland graduates a lot.

Not sure about Tipp City.

DeSales could move back down to D2.

Lexington was in the final four but graduated about a dozen kids I believe.

I'm sure Bay will be back with a vengeance.

CVCA graduated a couple very good players but will likely reload.

Gonna be a lot of teams in the hunt in D2. That's for sure.
Early in the season, but Lexington looks better than they were last year. Major losses were leading scorer and center back. Their new center back is better than last years. They have a couple guys that look poised to replace the leading scorer as well as their all-American back that is a scorer as well.

St. X is looking pretty good this year.
Agree - Saw livestream against Anderson. Anderson scores first on confusion by St. X defense on a short corner, then StX dominated the rest of the way (6 goals), and to be fair, Anderson is not a bad team and will probably have decent season. The 2nd Anderson goal came off of a defensive mistake after StX subbed nearly their entire lineup and their entire back line. St. X Midfield and back line are legit and one of the best in SW Ohio.

Really nice win for Monroe.

Not a good start for the Knights though. They have a tough schedule again this year.
Interesting matchup on Saturday against Troy Christian - one of the better D3 teams in Dayton area the past 5-6 years. TC has amped up their schedule this year looking to play top teams in the state. Alter is always one of the best in the state it seems. Don't think these two teams have ever played but Alter always seems to handle Dayton Christian every year. TC and DC are usually pretty evenly matched of late so wondering if this will be too tough of a task for TC?

I have 2-2 tie

It will be interesting to see TC play on turf, instead of a prairie that gets mowed only *after* Ottawa Hills comes to town.

2-1 Alter in a tight one.

If they are better than last year that will be something.

D2 will be fun to watch again this year

it would have been this weekend at Jesuit Cup. I believe it is in October? I just hope teams are still playing

Looks like October 3rd. They haven't set a location or time yet. Ignatius is still rebuilding it's schedule as they had to shut down for nearly a month and lost the beginning of their schedule (and their games in D.C.) due to the virus.
