Cincinnati D-1 Sectional

Yea, not a big deal. That's why I was specific about saying district, and not sectional. I'm just happy to see this year Cincinnati has just 4 districts. There's been times when they will have 5 and the 5th district gets kicked to a different region for the regional semifinal game. I hate seeing a SWO school get put into a situation where they are forced to play completely unfamiliar teams, and on top of that have to travel far away too.
I do recall when Cincinnati had 5 district and one district winner would have to play in Columbus. In 2007 that worked out ok as St X and Moeller ended up playing in the state championship game causing some heartburn to many outside of Cincinnati. But I agree, it is really not a good idea.

Turpin had sectional 4 and 5 totally open with NO ONE in them yet. Don't understand. No guarantee to get by elder.

that’s just how strong the Moeller effect is. Teams are so scared of playing them at all before the regional final that they’d rather jump in with another top 5 team early on in the tournament.

From Wikipedia:

Springboro is a city in the U.S. state of Ohio. An affluent suburb of Cincinnati and Dayton, it is located mostly in Warren County in Clearcreek and Franklin Townships; with a small portion in Miami Township in Montgomery County. The city is part of the Miami Valley.

I've lived in Mason for 30 years and never met anyone from Springboro that considers themselves part of Cincinnati--they are Dayton all the way--I imagine that's why Boro plays in the GWOC instead of the GMC--affiliation with other Dayton schools--and downtown Cincy is 38 miles from Boro!!

Just how the Census views it. Projection is Dayton will be in the Cincinnati CMSA at some point, essentially a suburb of Cincinnati.

Moeller got worse this season?? Time to fire Kremer!!!! ?

The team Moeller beat in last year's championship game 52-44--Akron SVSM-- dropped to DII this year. So without having to beat Moeller this year, can SVSM beat Trotwood Madison for the DII title and can Moeller then beat Lakewood St. Edward for the DI title. Let's check my memory here. Didn't SVSM give Moeller their only loss this year and didn't St. Edward beat SVSM this year.

If only it were that simple to predict winners and losers. There are way to many variables to rely on A beat B, and B beat C, so A will beat C.

Bingo Philly---example Oak Hills beat Elder by 22; LaSalle beat Oak Hills by 5; Elder beat LaSalle by 1---every game is different, especially weighing injuries and tourney-time nerves kicking in--it's why they play the games!!

You guys are all wrong. If I were following that logic, I would have picked St. Edward not Moeller. Remember Moeller lost to SVSM and St. Edward won therefore if I were following what you think I would have gone with St. Edward.
