Mogadore schedule 2020

Anyone have Mogadore's football schedule for upcoming season? With Valley Christian and Mantua Crestwood leaving this year, that leaves at least 2 open dates. Heard Mogadore Field is week 1 and rumor picked up Hudson Western Reserve Academy ( don't understand this one as not a OHSAA school). But looks like Mogadore is searching. Next year Garrettsville Garfield leaves league as well.
 
 
They still have those two open dates according to OHSAA site...and yes, picked up Reserve. It's very hard to schedule games, especially if you are a good program.
 
According to Arbiter this is what it looks like right now:

W1 vs. Field
W2 vs. Triway
W3 @ Meadowbrook
W4 @ Lima CC
W5 vs. Western Reserve Academy
W6 vs. Rootstown
W7 OPEN
W8 vs. Garfield
W9 vs. Southeast
W10 OPEN
 
All league games are home this year. But only 3 league games! They played at Rootstown, Southeast and Garfield last year. Hopefully weeks 7 and 9 get filled. Any Akron city schools have open???
 
Lucas and Mogadore met in playoffs I think 2x. Mogadore winning both. Think this would be a going small school matchup. Guess Cleveland Central or Fairport for week 10, though I think both would be overmatched.

Ironically Cleveland Central Catholic is playing Garfield in Week 10.

Looks like ST Thomas and Jfk coming into conference 2021-2022 after Garfield leaves. Also two others are looking at the conference both private schools

That would be bad news for your 140 pound lineman and "good football speed" DBs!

Even less for Week Ten.
Lucas, Fairport Harding or Cleveland Central Catholic.

PA hasn't aligned yet for the next two year cycle. So nobody has open days until then. At least a few more weeks before they can start posting open dates.

Ellet barely beat 1-9 Springfield and lost to 1-9 Tallmadge. You seriously believe Ellet would beat Mogadore right now?

Oh, and Ellet still went 3-2 in the crap City Series.

You can’t be serious.
 
As far as openings, Mogadore could play Lucas Week 7. If they don't find anyone for Week 10, they could use it as a bye, but I'm pretty certain that they would at least like to play someone at the end of the season. Even though Fairport Harding would not give out many harbins and would be most certainly overmatched, it could possibly serve as a tune up game.
 
I have said for years that Moggy should play APS schools in football. Maybe not East or Buchtel, but the others would be good games IMO.
 
Why not play either Cuyahoga Hts or Kirtland. Those would be fun. Kirtland might not be ideal since they’ll likely see one another in playoffs with their likely drop down to division 6 this year.
 
The best options right now for Mogadore in Week 7:
Canton Central Catholic
VASJ
Lucas
Tiffin Calvert

Best options for Week 10:
Conneaut
Fort Frye
Ursuline

You will get Harbins like any other team you play if you can beat WRA. They count as D4 as far as Harbins go.
