Malvern and SV tonight, big game in the ivc north. Ridgewood at Trail, we will see how wood comes out after a far from great performance on Tuesday. IV and claymont has some potential intrigue, I hear IV has been playing better since those two players returned.
 
Hiland went on the road out of league tonight to take on Western Reserve Academy who has the #3 sophomore in the country (per ESPN) in Chris Livingston (came in averaging 29.6 points per game). Apparently he's being recruited by OSU, Florida and Gonzaga. The Hawks led 9-4 early before giving up 17 straight points and found themselves down 21-9 early in the second quarter. Hiland battled back to within three, 28-25 at halftime and actually grabbed a 33-32 lead early in the third...then Livingston took over to put WRA up by seven at 42-35. The Hawks kept battling though and took another lead about midway through the fourth at 49-48, but once again Livingston decided to take control as Hiland had no one who could defend him (doubt any small school team would). Hiland did keep themselves within striking distance late but ultimately fell 61-56. Livingston finished with 25.

Browning gets 29 in Hornets victory
 
He is definitly a very nice player,and conducts himself the right way on the court,fun to watch him play even if he is burning the nets down against our team!?
 
Malvern beat 13-1 Southern Local 68-61 behind Kenneth Martin 21 Michael Minor 20 and Johnny Browning 16 I really like the way this team is grinding they got 3s from 4 different players Den's playing 9 or 10 guys and Derk is wearing a tennis shoe
 
Wonder now that Malvern has a two game lead on TV in the league, how much will that affect the out come of this game, Hornets pretty much have the North Division lock up, but they still have to go to TCC, and we know what they did to TV a few days ago

Saw the first matchup - TV needs to get more out of their guards to beat Malvern. We all know about the 2 bigs for TV, but they got next to nothing from their guards during the first matchup (until it was too late), and it cost them the game...

But yes, should be a good game!

Big game in TV tomorrow as Malvern heads there. Malvern is 8-0 in league, TV is 6-2 and Strasburg is 6-3 as far as the top of the North is concerned.

Would love to see them get to Cbus, esp w all the success Tucci has had. One of his best teams just missed in regional finals about 12 years ago. 3 bigs, son, shooter, good quick defensive guard.

Hiland pulls out a tight one at Buckeye Trail 63-57 on their senior night. Strange enough, it was a sophomore, Franco Rome (sp?), for BT that kept the Warriors in the game scoring 37...think he was 7 of 7 from 3. Tuesday’s game against Ridgewood at the Reese Center will determine whether the IVC South is a split title or an outright title for the Generals.
 
Hopefully we will be at full strength, when we play the General's Tuesday,Sam Habeger has been doing up , hasn't played the last four games, interesting non league tonight as Ridgewood travels to play the D1 Massillon Tigers,I guess this could be there first lost, but then again Strasburg went to Massillon about this time last season and beat the Tigers,

I believe strasburg plays tusky valley tomorrow night and if they lose that game that would put them in a tie with sandy valley for third place. Sandy valley currently has a better record at 10-10 so i would assume they would play in the third place game.
