ESPN 300 wide receiver Rakim Jarrett made a surprise announcement on the first day of the early signing period Wednesday by flipping his commitment from LSU to Maryland.
Jarrett, out of St. John's College High School in Washington, is the No. 21-ranked recruit overall and had been considering flipping from LSU to either Maryland or Alabama. He initially reported he would not sign in the early signing period, but he changed his mind and announced for the Terps.
Agree. Very tough to explain and as you say, inexcusable.WTF happened to USC? Their class is ranked dead last in the Pac 12. How do you fall behind Oregon State and Wazzu? Nationally they’re behind Bowling Green. That’s terrible. I know Helton constantly being on the brink of losing his job doesn’t help, but that’s still inexcusable. Your 4th and 5th choices are still 3*/4* players in SoCal.
You don’t even have to get on a plane to recruit a Top 10 class nationally. This yr, there’s 20 kids in the SoCal area in the Top 300, none of them ended up at USC. That’s mind boggling.Agree. Very tough to explain and as you say, inexcusable.
Dabo has that gift.Dabo is definitely the best recruiter
